Crypto Academy Week 11 - Homework Post for @yohan2on [Designing a Cryptocurrency Investment Portfolio]
INTRODUCTION
Using an initial investment of $50, practically design your own cryptocurrency investment portfolio.
- Your Crypto portfolio should have 6 Cryptocurrencies and briefly explain why you have chosen to invest in each one of them.
- Use a Crypto wallet of your choice to hold your 6 cryptocurrencies.
- Wait for a day or 2days, then showcase the final results of your investment portfolio.
- Use proper screenshots to showcase before and after. Is your total crypto portfolio in profits or losses? Which cryptocurrencies have increased in value and made you some profits? And which ones have declined in price value and made you some losses? Or have all of them made you profits? What’s the growth percentage of your Crypto trading portfolio after the 1 or 2days waiting period?
Before I go into the homework and answer it properly, What is Cryptocurrency Investment Portfolio?
In my understanding, A cryptocurrency investment portfolio is the total asset of a trader/investor which comprises the cryptocurrencies which a crypto investor or trader uses.
So according to the above homework task, I designed a cryptocurrency investment portfolio with $60.21. The dollar I used for this portfolio could have been more than this but considering the instability of the crypto market and for fact that this wasn't in my plan, I had to use this just to let you know I understood your course perfectly.
My crypto portfolio was made up of six cryptocurrencies as required by the professor. These were six crypto pairs which consisted of *XLM/USDT, XLMUP/USDT, XRP/USDT, EOSUP/USDT, REEF/USDT, and SUPPER/USDT.
Even though I do not have the basic information of all of this coins, I chose to invest in these coins based on two general reason that first applies to me and secondly to them.
- I do not want my money to be stocked in any coin because I really didn't want to loose any part of it. At the end of the experimental task, I didn't want to be at a loss.
- The price for each of those cryptocurrency pair is still very small, so with a little move, I can make little on the little I invested in each of them. I do not even trade o some of them but for the sake of this task, I had to look and bring the ones that can serve my interests.
I used Binance a cryptocurrency exchange wallet to hold them for a day and some hours and below is the result of the investment for each of those crypto pairs I used.

After a day and about 3hours, the $60.21 invested in those cryptos which made up my portfolio yielded $63.175 in total.
The screenshots below are details of the buy order for each crypto pair for my portfolio. These will serve for Before.
These is my buy order list. It contains the amount of each coin I bought and the date and time I bought them.
I am going to post screenshots of each of the above orders that show the USDT values of each of them.
For the sell order of each crypto pair in the portfolio that forms the After of the portfolio.
The time and date with the amount of the coins are all shown in the screenshots.
Another sets of screenshots that shows the USDT profit made from each coin pair in the portfolio is shown below.
All the crypto that made up my crypto portfolio for this task increased in value and this was as a reason of the calculated trading technique I used. At the end of the holding period of 37 hours plus, I made $3.175, so my portfolio increased from $60.21 to $63.385.
The percentage of my crypto portfolio after the period I held it is shown in the table below.

This was fairly done. It's important to first equip yourself with the knowledge about each of your selected 6 cryptocurrencies before considering to invest your money into them. Cryptocurrency is highly risky. Through research on the performance of the various coins can really help you out in managing the risk of losing most of your funds. Otherwise, thanks for the effort and congratulations on your $3.175 profit from your portfolio.

I have basic knowledge about some of the coins i used i my investment portfolio. I have being using some of them to trade and for the ones I didn't really know nothing about them, I just used common crypto experience in order for me not to delay my y my USDT in any coin.
