Hello everyone,
I welcome you'll to the second week of the season 9 steemitcryptoacademy engagement contest.
Here, we will be going all out on Tron ecosystem and I will be making my entry below.
Tronlink
This is a decentralized digital wallet which is compatible with Tron blockchain and allow users to safely store their trc based tokens and make transactions using trc network. It also allow users to perform certain functions on the Tron Blockchain such as voting, resource gaining, staking and the use of various DApps.
Tronlink is used in storing trx, trc10, trc20, and trc721 based tokens.
It is used in voting for super representatives on the Tron blockchain.
It is used in gaining energy and bandwidth.

Every Blockchain has an explorer which is used in tracking transaction thus making it visible for anyone that wants to see. In steem Blockchain, there's an explorer known as steemscan which allows the blockchain users to monitor and find data on the Steem Blockchain. This function is exactly what the Tronscan does on the Tron Blockchain. Infact, it is the first ever Tron Blockchain explorer and it is still very much functional.
Tronscan is basically used to monitor transactions on the Tron blockchain.
It helps users to verify is a transaction is pending, successful or failed.
It allows transparency on the Blockchain by making recording and making public all transactions that occurs on the block.
- Justlend
Justlend is a DApp which allows users to stake TRX token and earn sTRX which is in a ratio of 1:0.9 with TRX. The TRX staked can only be withdrawn after 14 days unstaking period.
The Justlend DApp currently has a total of 582 stakers and a total supply of 353,836,458 sTRX.
- Tronscan
Tronscan is an explorer on Tron Blockchain which can be accessed through the TronLink wallet. It contains details of transactions, number of blocks, number of trx staking governance which is currently over 11 billion and a lot more.
In other to show how to verify a transaction status using Tronscan, I will be carrying out a transaction on TronLink.
First we start by completing a transaction.
Now that the transaction is completed using TronLink, we will click on explore and select Tronscan. After selecting Tronscan, copy and paste the recipient wallet address on the space provided.
After in putting the receipeint wallet address, all the details of the transaction will be shown. Here, we will be focusing on the details such as timestamp, resource consumed, transaction status.
Here, I will be explaining the process of initiating a transaction using TronLink wallet.
First of all, log into TronLink wallet and click on send then input the wallet address of the recipient.
After inputting the wallet address of the recipient, input the amount you wish to send and confirm.
For further security, enter wallet password and the transaction will be completed and recorded on chain.
Now that the transaction is recorded on chain, you can view the state of this transaction using Tronscan.
From the above, we can see that the transaction was successful.
Tron is a Blockchain that has a lot unique features and supports a more faster transaction that most other Blockchain. Also, transactions on Tron blockchain are less expensive and sometimes free if users has enough resources (energy and bandwidth).
