We are all once again welcomed to the second week of the 9th season of steemit crypto academy engagement challenge.
On this week episode, we will be focusing more on Tron with a topic that states "All about the Tron ecosystem."
TronLink is a decentralized digital wallet which is used in storing trc-based coins/tokens and allows a direct connection of DApps built on Tron Blockchain. This wallet works similar to Metamask which is an Ethereum based wallet but it's more efficient as it doesn't consume much gas price and it's transactions too are swift.
TronLink serve various purposes which includes;
Connection to DApps on Tron Blockchain.
Storing of Trc-based tokens
Staking of trx and other trc-based tokens for earn APY.
Staking of trx to vote for super representatives on the Tron blockchain.
Staking to earn more resources such as bandwidth and energy which can cover certain transaction costs.
TronLink is user-friendly and allows Swift transaction.
Tronscan is simply the block explorer of the Tron Blockchain. By being an explorer, it holds the details of all the transactions happening on the Tron network. Some of these details includes, transaction status, timestamp, energy consumed by a transaction, gas fees, number of blocks and many more.
The Tronscan allow users to track and view various transactions without any manipulations and this makes it a very important DApp on the Tron blockchain.
The Tronscan serve various purposes on the Tron blockchain and some of them includes;
Being used as a tool to track transactions.
It easily gives users information on the number of blocks mined on the Tron blockchain.
It allow users to confirm the state of their transaction in other to know when it has been received by the beneficiary.
It creates further transperacy on the Tron blockchain by allowing everyone to view activities of the blockchain without favoritism. This further makes the Blockchain more decentralized.
There are various DApps on the Tron Blockchain which can be accessed using the TronLink wallet.
- Sun.io
Sun.io is a decentralized platform built on Tron ecosystem and it's majorly used for stable coin swap. It also provides earning opportunities for users by allowing them to stake and earn rewards using a method known as yield farming.
It also support self governance of which users can participate in and boost their mining rewards.
When it comes to liquidity which is the main thing traders and farmers often look out for, sun.io has enough of liquidity thus making it safe for users.
- BitTorrent
BitTorrent platform is another efficient DApp on Tron Blockchain. It offer high reward up to 14.88% annual interest and a total stake of 47347B BTT.
For this very reason, even popular companies are now utilizing the opportunity and staking on the BitTorrent platform.
The Tronscan is very easy to use therefore verifying a transaction using it is quite simple.
Hang on, let me walk you through.
Once you make a new transaction on the TronLink wallet, you just have to immediately click on view transaction.
But if you were not able to click on view transaction immediately after making a transaction, you can still check the status by clicking on the transaction.
I will be carrying out a minor transaction in other to show how transaction using TronLink is done.
Click on the asset you want to send. Here, I will be sending TRX. Click on send and paste the beneficiary wallet address.
Enter the amount you wish to send and click to confirm transaction.
Now that the transaction has been confirmed, It will be broadcasted and recorded on the Blockchain and that can been seen using Tronscan block explorer.

The Tron ecosystem is very efficient and user friendly. It has a lot of DApps which offer various services and most of them can be accessed using the TronLink decentralized digital wallet.

That's correct . We can even check balance which is not reflected at the frontend platforms like steemit wallet and TronLink.
