I think they are better than twitter and facebook because the steemit social network is free, and the same users are the ones who filter the content, the content trends are Organic and they are not a trend because a person paid for it, of course steemit the more power you have and the better votes you have, your post becomes a trend without mentioning bots, but the important thing here is that the beneficiaries of these inventions are ourselves the users, and not the owners of the social network.

On Facebook, if you want to be a trend you have to pay the page to be seen and recognized, while on Twitter you have to be a celebrity, an ordinary person is rarely a trend on these social networks.
