I will like to congratulate you for being selected as a professor on steem cryptoacademy.

I am writing on Ethereum and Stellar.
But before I start writing on them I will like us to know what a blockchain platform is.

****BLOCHAIN PLATFORM
A blochain platfom is a platform that helps in the creation of blockchain applications.Some bockchains has frameworks that allows people to host applications on them.
There are some few things one should concider before choosing a blockchain platform, which are popularity,price, network, language and ones activity.

Ethereum is one of the popular active blockchain which allows the development of other application on it's platform.

**STELLAR

This is a type of blockchain platform that allows us to trade with all types of money which be cryptocurrency or tradional money.

****COMPARING ETHEREUM AND STELLAR
I will like to comaper the two blockchain platforms by looking at their transaction speed,how dencentralized they are, their market values, what their platforms are used for.

**DECENTRALIZATION
Even though both Stellar blockchain and Ethereum are decentralized Stellar blockchain is more decentralized than Ethereum blockchain.The currency of Ethereum is ETHER and Ethereum blochain is a platform for decentralized applications whiles Stellar is used to send money around the world in any currency.

TRANSACTION SPEED
Stellar blockcain platform can prcocess 1000-1500 transactions within a second whiles Ethereum processes between 10-15 transaction in a second.This shows that transactions on Stellar are faster than that of Etherium.

****MARKET VALUE

Before an investor invests in a particular cryptocurrency he or she has to know the market value of that cryptocurrency.
Currently Ethereum is nuber 2 and Stellar is number 14 on the top cryptoassets chart.This shows clearly that ethereum is valuable than stellar even though stellar has potentials.On 19-03-2021 the market value of etherium was $160 billion is it's all time higest. Investing in ethereum may be more profitabe than stellar since ehhereum is the second largest cryptocurrency beacuse most investors will see investing in etherium to be safer than stellar since it is the second largest cryptocurrency when more people invest in a particular currency it hepls increase the price of that particular currency.

          CONCLUTION

From their market values one could say ethereum is valuable than stellar but one should also concider what you are going use the blockchain before choosing one among the two since both serves different purposes. Development plarfom whiles stellar is used for payment of money around the world.Proggrammers will go for ethereum since it will help them develop smart contracts whiles bussiness men will go for stellar since it will send money any where in the world easily.Both blockchain platform are the best in what they do.
