Crypto Academy Week 11 - Homework Post for @alphafx by @kelechisamuel
It was a beautiful lecture by @alphafx and I seriously learnt alot of lessons with and from John, if I had known what John know now, I wouldn't have gone close to future trades, but that is a story for another day as we await part 2 lecture by @alphafx
Question 1
Do you hold any coins? Talk about the wallet type you prefer/would prefer holding in
Currently I hold a small coin worth of BNB, which I bought because I didn't want to be left out from the crypto currency business, even though I had very little knowledge of what I was doing, I was advised to buy
I prefer Exchange wallet which is a subsidiary of Hot wallet, an example of exchange wallet being binance, binance as a hot exchange wallet can be referred to as safe, reliable, and trustworthy
Just as we all know in everything there are pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages, so I will be dropping a few as regards binance
Advantages/pros
- it supports many crypto currencies with ease
- it is very secured as it is not so prone to hackers
- has a very beautiful exchange platforms
Disadvantages/cons
- if you are a beginner, you will definitely get confused except guided upon
- very few crypto currency to crpto currency pair as they pair most small coins with larger coins and it is very hard to see a small coin to small coin pair
Question 2
With screenshots, show how to perform spot trading on any pair of your choice.
Ok for this question I will give a step by step procedure on how to make a spot trading for those using binance application on Android
1. open your binance application
2. Select market at the bottom left
3. make sure you are on the spot trading, I repeat make sure you are on the spot trading platform, least you learn the hard way like John
4. click the pair you want to exchange or search for it in the search button
5. Click on buy or sell depending on your need at the moment
6. click on limit to sell at an expected price or click on market to buy at the current price
7. Input the amount that you want to buy or seller
Question 3
Holding or trading, which do you prefer and why?
Ok from my own angle just like John I would like to get myself a Joseph that would trade for me because just as trading is risky and also profitable, I really don't have the heart to bear shock so I would stick to holding and have my peace of mind
I know trading is quick money but I really don't have much to put at risk so I would rather hold and work with patience than die early in life out of pressure and heart attack
To cut the long story short, I would rather hold than trade
Conclusion:
The lecture was very interesting especially as we had life examples added to it, I learnt a lot and I have also learnt how to make my spot trading, both holding and trading is good, choose your own good
