Question 1). Explain in detail what is the Socios.com Platform?

In an effort to bring fans closer to their favorite sporters/players and teams, Chiliz created the Socios.com platform.

The Socios.com platform is one of its kind. It is a sport mobile app that bring fans closer to their favorite clubs to partake in major decisions of the teams like buying of a player during the transfer window, changing of the team crest, designing a new kit or curtains for the club. In these important decisions, fans are able to vote their opinions.

Using the Socios.com platform, fans and users stand the chance of getting fruitful rewards like

• Live Match day challenge
• Prediction games
• Unique merchandise just go name a few.

It is important to note that Socios.com is a Blockchain platform that runs on the Ethereum Blockchain Network with it's native token being CHZ and it is one of the ERC-20 tokens.

The current price of CHZ as of the time is this post is $0.351, a 24h trading volume of $820,341,397 and Marketcap of $2,070,161,740.

Socios.com gets into partnership with various club, and these clubs have committed to number binding and non binding polls and each poll has a minimum of about 2 choices. What happens is each fan has to simply pick a choice best suited to them and the clubs are oblige to act upon the biding votes.

1. Fan token.
   One of the unique feature of Socios.com is the fan token. Fan token is a crypto currency that is created by clubs that are in partnership with Socios.com, these tokens act as a link between the club and the fans. Fans can buy Fan token of their favorite club and have a voting rights on decisions concerning the club.

2. Polling feature.
   Another feature of the Socios.com is the polling feature. This feature permits holder of Fan token to Participate on polls concerning the club. The pools are made up of several things that the club can participate in.

3. Reward Feature.
   It is important for the club to reward fans that are faithful and loyal to the club and participate in the growth of the club. Holders of fan token can get reward like

• Visiting the favorite club stadium during a live match
• Visit an athletes or player from the club
• Have a call with athletes of a club.

Question 2). What are the effects when blockchain has entered the realm of the sports industry?

Blockchain technology is advancing everyday and entering many spheres of life. As we can see Blockchain has entered the sports industry. Below are the effects and impact of blockchain engagement in the sports industry

1. Adaptation of blockchain Technology.
   The entry of socios.com into the sports industry is a great move for Blockchain. The idea to bring fans who are very far away from their favorite clubs closer to through decisions making of the club will increase the number of people using Blockchain. We need to remember that the sporting industry has the highest number of persons in the world.

2. Transparency.
   One of the main effect of the Blockchain technology is an increase transparency in the sports industry. One of the main advantage of Blockchain technology is transparency. Most clubs will be oblige to be transparent with their voting rights, finances and decisions concerning the club. Like the case of Messi Transfer move to PSG, everything including finances were transparent mostly due to the Fan token of PSG.

3. Increase in Finance of clubs.
   The impact of the Blockchain technology in the sports industry also serves as a source of finance for most clubs. Decisions and news will have a higher impact in the financial area. Let's look at the case of the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus to Manchester united. The fan token of the Juventus witness a significant drop within the first days of the transfer period.

Question 3). Is Socios.com a good prospect as an investment vehicle? Explain your personal opinion along with strong evidence.

For me I think Socios.com is a very good prospect as an investment, it has great potentials for the future. Let's look at some of the reasons why I think it is a good investment.

1. The objective is unique. ( Bringing fans closer to club)
   Socios.com white paper says the main reason for the platform is to bring fans closer to the team the like. Let's take for example a fan like myself, I am a supporter of manchester united and I live in Cameroon in another continent. That is miles and miles away from England, before Socios.com I could only be a fan with no significant influence on the team.
   But with the introduction of Socios.com I can sit in my living room in Cameroon and influence decisions in England through my voting rights. Most people will want to be part of the life of their favorite clubs and so I think it's a good investment.

2. The sports industry.
   The sports industry is the most lucrative industry in the world, it has the most fans. Socios.com choosing the sports industry means the have a great chance for growth.
   It is a known fact that more than 3/4 of the worlds population are sport fans. This means Socios.com stand a huge chance to have billions and billions of users in future.

3. No competition.
   Socios.com as we earlier mentioned is one of its kind and it is the first of it kind. It presently has no competition in the world and so it can reap the massive reward that will be offered by this industry.
   Just like Bitcoin which was the first Crypto currency in the world and since then it stands as the largest and biggest coin, Socios.com stand a great advantage of leading the industry in the same manner.

Question 4). Explain the steps to install the Socios.com application in full and explore the various features in the application. (Screenshot Required)

• Step one. The first thing to do is to download the Socios.com app. To download the app, we can go to Google play store on our mobile phones and click on it.

• Step two. The play store interface will open open, we will go to the search bar and type Socios.com and click the search icon.

• Step three. A list of applications relating to the socios.com will appear. The very first item that appears on the list is Socios.com, we will click on it.

A new page will pop-up with an Install icon and click on it, the app will download and installed on our phone.

• Step four. After the app has successfully installed it will appear on the screen of the mobile phone.
  We will click on it and a new page will open. At the bottom of the page is an icon Get Started. We will click on the icon.

• Step Five. A new page will pop-up after clicking on the get started icon. The page is the login for older users and registration for new comers. As can be seen from the image, there is a place for me to input my mobile phone number which I have done. After inputting my number I click on the Send Verification Code icon and hold on for the code to be sent to your phone.

• Step Six. When the verification code has been receive, we can then input the code into the verification box and wait for the verification to be processed.

• Step Seven. Immediately the verification has been processed, we will do the registration process again but this time with the email address and username. We will choose a username, I used ebuahsang1, and input my email address.

• Step Eight. A verification email is sent to the email address provided during the registration, we will be required to open our email and click on verify now button.

• Step Nine. After verifying your email, a congratulations message will be sent to you.
  Tada! We have successfully created our account.

• Step Ten. The next step is to go back to the app we earlier installed. There will be a pop+up page like a direction manual on how to use the application. It has four steps, after going through this steps we will click on the Finish button at the bottom of the page

• Step Eleven. When we click on Finish, the app will navigate us to the Homepage of the application, the homepage will look like the one below. To confirm that our account has been verified, we can click on the profile icon at the top left corner of the Homepage.

• Step Twelve. A successful registered and verified account will look like the one below. There will be an icon showing where you can upload an image or profile picture. Also, your username will be visible.

• Step Thirteen. The last but not the least step. A successful registration and verification on the Socios.com app will grant you a token known as SSU. To view this token we will click on the Wallet button at the bottom of the homepage, just beside Home.

And with these we are successfully registered on Socios.com, we can start predicting games, voting on our club decisions and so on.

To answer question 5, my choice for fan token will be the PSG fan token

The Paris Saint Germain Fan token can be defined as a crypto currency that gives PSG fans all over the world an opportunity to participate in the decision surrounding the club.

Conclusion.

It is really true and becoming a reality as Blockchain technology gradually makes its ways into the lifestyle in this generation.

Socios.com is a unique platform and opportunity that have been offered to fans. I think this is so far my best lesson in crypto academy, seeing how Blockchain is bridging the gap between fans and clubs in the most loved activity which is sports.

Fans are becoming part and parcel of the games and I strongly believe Socios.com is a good investment, I will be personally looking to invest in it
