Before going into the definitions of centralized and decentralized social networks, we must take into account the definition of social networks. They are a platform where communities made up of different users and organizations interact and communicate with each other on internet platforms. Individuals do not necessarily have to have a deal before contacting them through a social network, but they can do so through it, which are one of the greatest benefits of virtual communities. These social networks can be divided into 2 types, centralized and decentralized, which I will explain below.

Redes sociales Centralizadas / Centralized Social Media

They are a platform that is controlled by a central command unit, whose database rests on the server that is created by the same developers. Users can share their thoughts, express their opinions, and their views with each other. These types of networks have to follow certain parameters and regulations to be able to publish their content, these regulations are created by the same authority that controls the social network, if they do not comply with these regulations they will be blocked, meaning that this type of social network can promote all individuals at will, restricting their acquisitions as they wish. Likewise, these types of networks have become very popular in the world. These platforms remain operational thanks to the type of content that we generate and share with other users integrated into the social network.

Some clear and main examples of the centralized networks that are the most used and known are the YouTube platform, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc ...

Red Social Descentralizada / Decentralized Social Media

This type of social network is the opposite of what can be centralized platforms, that is, they are not completely controlled by a central command unit, they are made up of a chain of blocks which cannot be under any control. They have the same functionality as a centralized platform, which is to maintain the same interactions between its users. These social media platforms allow people to have any type of expression and opinion on any topic, they have complete freedom to give their point of view since they do not have any specific rules or regulations to be repressed from the platform. Users have everything they need to have full control over their account, unlike centralized ones that only receive login passwords.

The typical examples that we can find of decentralized networks are platforms such as Hive, Dtube, Akasha, Steemit, etc ...

Diferencias entre Redes Centralizadas y Descentralizadas / Difference between decentralization and centralization Social Media Platforms

1- No hay ningún tipo de regulaciones en las redes descentralizadas, en cambio hay reglamentos establecidas por las autoridades en las centralizadas.

2- Las redes centralizadas no son de código abierto, lo cual las descentralizadas están basadas en blockchain y son de código abierto.

3- En las redes descentralizadas la información que implementa el usuario se mantiene de forma confidencial. Las centralizadas comparten la información del usuario registrada.

4- En las reces centralizadas los usuarios se mantienen constantemente preocupadas ya que al publicar algo que no está en las regulación sus cuentas pueden ser dadas de bajas. En cambio las descentralizadas los usuarios se mantienen libre ya que no se implementa ningún reglamento.

5- No hay censura en las redes descentralizadas, no se puede borrar ni editar el contenido subido, lo cual las centralizadas las censuras son importantes ya que su contenido se puede borrar.

6- Al no existir un mecanismo de control en las redes descentralizadas, el número de spam / plagio es muy alto lo cual es difícil de controlar, asimismo las centralizadas estos spam / plagio se puede controlar reportandolos a las autoridades a través de una queja y por ende el contenido se puede eliminar.

7- Las redes descentralizadas son no lo suficientes conocidas a como lo son las centralizadas ya que son muy conocidas por las interacciones de los mismos usuarios.

8- Las redes descentralizadas son poco probables de que sean pirateadas. Las centralizadas a cambio son pirateadas constantemente al ser el centro de atención de la actualidad.

3- In decentralized networks, the information that the user implements is kept confidential. The centralized ones share the registered user information.

4- In centralized recesses, users are constantly worried because by publishing something that is not in the regulations, their accounts can be terminated. On the other hand, the decentralized users are kept free and no regulations are implemented.

5- There is no censorship in decentralized networks, you can not delete or edit the content uploaded, which centralized censors are important since their content can be deleted.

6- As there is no control mechanism in decentralized networks, the number of spam / plagiarism is very high, which is difficult to control, also in centralized networks, these spam / plagiarism can be controlled by reporting them to the authorities through a complaint and therefore the content can be removed.

7- Decentralized networks are not sufficiently known as are centralized networks and they are well known due to the interactions of the users themselves.

8- Decentralized networks are unlikely to be hacked. The centralized in exchange are constantly hacked to be the center of attention today.

Centralized and decentralized social media platforms have a place of their own. If we talk about them, about their future that these types of networks have, the decentralized one will have a little more value and constancy later on because they are more secure and stable than the centralized ones. Because we know when people know that their information, images and personal data that they implemented in them can be sent to other users or hackers, they will have a hatred and disappointment towards them for running their personal information, which will mean that they will stop use that centralized network and they will begin to use and give more importance to decentralized social networks since this type of network will notify them that it is not under any control by a company and that any type of personal information implemented will be safe from any user or Hacker. Therefore, a new era will begin where decentralized social networks take on an important value and weight on the internet.

We all know the Facebook and Twitter platforms since they are the most popular for their great use and that most of us belong to them by having a registered account, and that Steemit despite its low popularity has its little recognition on these platforms. In my opinion, Steemit is better than the aforementioned social networks due to the security it provides to the accounts it offers to its users. There are numerous cases where we find or know a person who has had their Facebook or Twitter account hacked where privacy is filtered and compromised without the permission of the owners, delaying their progress as a reliable network and also as a decentralized network. . On the other hand, I must emphasize that in Steemit they reward you for publishing original content of any type of topic since it has no established restrictions, instead of Facebook and Twitter.

We can say that in the future Steemit will become well known in the world of social media platforms for its high security and the rewards that it can generate on them.

Steemit is a decentralized social network as it has been talking about the subject, in which it allows all types of people to work on it. To be able to work on this platform is to learn certain circumstances that may happen in our daily lives that can be shared with other users, thus being able to receive a type of rewards that can be exchanged for real money. Despite all this situation, the world is going through the Covid-19 virus, Steemit Platform offers great opportunities to work from home and can be safe from this disease that is very dangerous. It should be noted that Steemit is a platform that is a benefit for many people who are unemployed or who may be going through a bad situation. People's lives have changed a lot and it may be that in the future, each working user can change her destiny and make a life easier by working here.

Steemit apart from being a communication platform can also be used for other purposes. One of them is to be able to share information about personal skills, upload photos or participate in different contests carried out by the community. You can get a good reward for providing good information. Another function that Steemit has to earn money is by completing the tasks that are assigned by the different professors of the Steemit Crypto Academy, which can get a lot of knowledge about cryptocurrencies. If we want to continue having good progress in Steemit, we must follow some regulations of the community that we are generating money, and try to make the content that you are creating is your own, if you notice that it is a copy and paste of another post with the same related topic it is useless because the post and possibly your account can be silenced. We must create a type of content that people like, try to get the same thoughts as other users to get more votes and earn more money. By following all these mentions, you can generate a good income from them.

Para crear una comunidad debemos seguir los siguientes pasos necesarios:

To create a community we must follow the following necessary steps:

1- Iniciamos sesión con nuestra cuenta de steemit y le damos click en el logotipo.

1- We log in with our steemit account and click on the logo.

2- Estando en el inicio de la página nos dirigimos en Explorar Comunidades y le damos click

3- Le damos click en Crear Comunidad

3- We click on Create Community

4- Ingresamos el nombre que queramos para nuestra comunidad. Tenemos que colocar una breve descripción de ella y le damos en Siguiente

5- Se nos generará una clave la cual debemos guardarla y marcamos la casilla de verificación. Presionamos el botón de Crear Comunidad

5- We will generate a password which we must save and mark the checkbox. We press the button Create Community

6- Antes de seguir con nuestra creacion de la comunidad, debemos asegurarnos de tener al menos 3 STEEM en nuestra billetera para su creación. Si ya estamos seguro de que temenos los steem le damos al boton de Aceptar

7- Colocamos nuestro nombre de usuario y la clave de activación en el cuadro. Seguimos con el boton de Iniciar Sesión
