My Experience

---

My name is Mahamudu Abubakari with the username @abu78 on steemit platform. I joined steemit on 18/02/2021, that is 4 months ago. I have always been really interested in learning about cryptocurrencies. The very first moment I joined steemit platform, I started to learn about more cryptocurrencies although I was already having the basic knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
Because I had much interest in learning more about cryptocurrencies and also teaching to others, I joined the Steemit Crypto Academy from the first season to date. I have been participating in almost all lessons within a week. I try to understand what is taught before doing the homework task assigned even if it will take me a day or two to understand. Due to this diligence, I had towards learning the crypto, I can boldly say that my knowledge about cryptocurrencies is now at an advanced level.

When I joined steemit at the pioneer stage, I used to send my STEEM to @njaywan to sell for me, but today with the aid of the Steemit Crypto Academy class, I can now trade my own STEEM with ease. I can now buy and sell all other cryptocurrencies with different limit orders. I am now a current holder of ETH, BTC, STEEM, and BCH on Binance. I am currently vested in two high exchange platforms, that is Binance and Huobi Pro. I have wide experience on these two exchange platforms and I do trade on them both.

Why I would Deliver?

With the interest that I had in learning more about cryptocurrencies, it is the same interest I have for teaching others on this platform especially with the newbies. Sometimes when we are given the assignments by our crypto professors, my colleagues do come to me for further explanations so they can understand more. And I try and assist them also in making corrections to their work before they submit their posts.

As I said earlier above, I am now at the advanced level when it comes to knowledge about cryptocurrencies. I am saying this because I now have the basic, fundamental, and technical knowledge when it comes to cryptocurrencies. I am currently a Biochemistry student almost moving to my third level, and as we all know the research work of every Biochemist, it is the same efforts of research I put when it comes to cryptocurrencies and this is what improved my cryptocurrency knowledge within the short 4 months period after joining steemit platform.

My Five Weeks Sample Outline

I would let the newbies know what cryptocurrency and blockchain all are about. Before I would start teaching them how to trade cryptocurrencies, I think it would be good to lecture them on how to manage their money and also how to create and manage their portfolio. Before taking the newbies into the technical aspects of cryptocurrencies I think they should know the basics aspects and as such, I would be taking them through the following courses to widen their understanding of cryptocurrency.

The following are my outlines:

1. Introduction to Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

• What is Blockchain?
• What are the Pros and Cons of Blockchain?
• How do you understand cryptocurrency
• The importance of cryptocurrencies
• Differences and comparison between cryptocurrency and Blockchain.
• Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrencies.

2. Crypto Exchanges and Crypto Wallets

• Definition for crypto exchange
• Definition for crypto wallets
• Types/Examples of crypto exchange and crypto wallets
exchanges include; (Binance, Poloniex, Huobi Pro), wallets include;(Meta Mask, MyEther, etc)

3. How to Setup a trading account in Crypto exchange (Binance)

• How to register for the selected exchange platform (all steps explained with screenshots)
•How to verify your account and add security
• How to make deposits with the selected exchange platform
• How to make withdrawals from the exchange platform

4. Introduction to cryptocurrency trading for beginners

• Explain what cryptocurrency trading is and how it works
• Highlight factors to consider before investing in any crypto asset, e.g. whitepaper, team, projects concepts, trading volume, etc.
• Benefits or importance of trading cryptocurrencies

5. Introduction to money management and Portfolio management in Cryptocurrency trading

• Definition of money management
• Definition of portfolio management
• How to create a portfolio
• How to manage your portfolio
• Importance or benefits of creating a portfolio
