#GRAFFITI OF MY CITY №6 / Closed for lunch
Hello everyone, friends of the @slon21veka community!
In this week's post I want to show you the graffiti that appears on the shutters of shops, bars, hairdressers and other businesses. We can contemplate them when the businesses lower their shutters for a well-deserved rest.
In the old days, the blinds were simply painted in a plain colour, without drawings, but for a few years now I have noticed that many shops decorate their blinds with graffiti and most of them are really beautiful.
I took the pictures in two cities I visited recently: Valencia and Barcelona.
. These photos were taken in a bar in a central square in Valencia. It is the "Café La Placita", very close to the Botanical Garden. The drawings represent an underwater scene, I find them very original.
. Three hairdressers, the first two in Valencia and the third one in Barcelona.
. In Barcelona I found an empanada shop with Mafalda, a flower shop, an old bookshop and a pastry shop.
. Also garages make their entrance doors much more attractive with this vintage graffiti.
. "La Vespa Roja" is a vintage clothes shop in the old town of Valencia. I think the graffiti represents the actor Jerry Lewis.
. A food shop, also found near the Botanical Gardens in Valencia.
. This shop is owned by a luthier, who repairs musical instruments.
. And finally a cocktail bar in Barcelona.
Thanks @slon21veka for the contest, we are still looking for urban art!
I invite @may2015 @tinochka2 and @xaviduran to the contest.
Regards,
Silvia.
