A exciting story between a soldier, a farmer and an engineer!!
Far far away in the city of Abam ama, blessed with bright talents, vast wealth and natural resources to explore, there existed a society divided by wealth and power, ruled by an oligarchy that controlled every aspect of life giving no room for citizens to grow. Among the ruling elite was the king, whose youngest son, happens to be a “farmer”.
His name is Prince Darius. Prince Darius is not just a successful farmer but he prides himself as one that owns the biggest farm land in that city and he’s one of the most sought eligible bachelor in town. This was making him live a reckless lifestyle giving concern to his parents.
He believes that:
“if you spend now, tomorrow will sort itself out. Besides, was the worst that could happen to the richest farmer in town and a royalty? Absolutely nothing.”
On the outskirts of the city lived an honorable architectural engineer named Arnold. who, despite his modest means, was highly respected for his fairness and integrity but his biggest undoing was owning a land close to prince Darius. Prince Darius had bought all the farm around that area from their owners for his grand agricultural ambitions and needed the engineers land but he refused to sell it to him because it is a land that has been handed down from generations.
The land held sentimental value, providing sustenance for his family and offering affordable crops to the struggling populace because there was serious hardship in the land. Despite the advise given to prince Darius to ignore this land and he can get other land for his farming, he refused. He went ahead to beat up Engineer Arnold with his body guards. But because of the goodwill of engineer Arnold, he was rescued by the community youth.
One day, during prince Darius stroll around his farm land with his royal entourage, he couldn’t help but noticed a beautiful young lady. He made enquiry to find out about her but none of his entourage knew anything about her. So, he walked up to her, leaving his entourage behind to know her for himself. He found out it was the engineers daughter and have been a way from the country for a long while.
Her name is Lisa. Prince Darius offered to give her a grand tour around Abam ama with his royal entourage. She felt pleased with him and she obliged. She was amazed at the transformation of the country while she was away and felt like a queen in the entourage. Meanwhile, prince Darius was devising a cunning plan to manipulate engineer Arnold’s daughter, Lisa , into unwittingly aiding his scheme.
Lisa was already in love, despite the heinous things her parents told her about prince Darius and how he has been a thorn in their flesh, it all fell on deaf ears. She was already daydreaming of been the princess of Abam ama and She kept on seeing him in secret. Prince Darius kept charming her with false promises. Blinded by infatuation, Eliza fell into Prince Darius’s trap, unaware of his ulterior motives.
Prince Darius, seizing the opportunity, planted the king’s staff of office, made out of gold and diamonds in Lisa’s possession. The king noticed that his royal artifact had been stolen and sent his personal guards after her. Lisa got home only to notice that the kings staff of office was with her but it was already too late. The guard dragged her in front of her parents for a crime she didn’t commit and such offenses is a death sentence by stoning.
Her parents were helpless and couldn’t afford to loose their only child. Went to beg the Prince Darius to talk to his father on their behalf, to temper justice with mercy and are willing to give him anything he wants. He smiled sheepishly and asked they sign off the farm land documents and give to him and he’ll do everything in his power to help the daughter. The engineer and his wife didn’t waste any seconds to sign off the land documents to the prince. Unfortunately, he didn’t keep to his word. The king's relentless pursuit of justice, tainted by Prince Darius deceit, led to Lisa’s tragic death.
The loss of Lisa and the only property made engineer Arnold and his wife live in abject poverty and debt. they sought refuge in abandoned buildings, mourning their only daughter and nursing a deep-seated resentment. The hardship in the land became so intense and even the engineer who sells cheap food for them to cushion the hardship has been removed from his property unjustly at the expense of his daughter’s life.
There was youth restiveness all over the city of Abam ama because of the abuse of power by the oligarchs, exemplified by Prince Darius actions. The city was in anarchy, the soldiers had to step in to take over power by overthrowing the corrupt king.
In a bid to secure their new found power after taking over from the oligarchs, the generals from the army, navy and Airforce did a meeting together and decided to build secured bunkers and military bases in the city. They made an open air advert in the city looking for professional who could do the architectural work for them. People within the city informed the army general about engineer Arnold and he was picked up from the uncompleted building he was now living.
Engineer Arnold, driven by a desire for justice and redemption, accepted the military's offer to design a military base and a well established secured bunker for them. With meticulous planning and dedication, engineer Arnold made a world class structure as a military base and an impenetrable bunker for them. Since they were in the city, the army general’s needed strategic position to build those structures. Arnold saw this as as opportunity to exert his revenge on the house of king and prince Darius.
Engineer Arnold, decided to pick all the properties of the king and his son, Prince Darius as a way of getting back at them in order to set up the structures for the generals. The soldiers brought down every structure marked for destruction while Arnold supervised. This brought about their downfall. Although engineer Arnold lost his daughter, Lisa, fortune later smiled on him and his family. While the king and Prince Darius faced the consequences of their wickedness and greed.

This is a super story but (yes, there is a but) I fiund the pictures a bit distracting. While reading I pictired what I read in my mind and your @ibesso his namephotos were the opposite.
Nevertheless a goid read and I am happy you joined and came up with this story instead of a joke. 👍

From the man on the Moon to "ibeesso", the sheep on Earth, my landing turns me into a witness to the same injustices and greed that @sbamsoneu describes. In the ironic bleating of a sheep, I find a way to play down the corruption that pervades even the most fertile soils. Nice story!

Sky walker, I like it. To count? Maybe only if it involves sheep jumping cheese fences. However, avoid counting too many, otherwise you will end up becoming a moonwalker in your dreams.
