CONTEST: "Who is Who?" / "Wer ist Wer?"

Deutsch im Anschluß...

Good morning, folks!

Because we have already grown substantially as a Community in a relatively short time and have a considerable number of active authors from the most diverse corners of the world, I have an idea. Well - actually it's just a copy - I know it from Deutsch Unplugged, my home Community, and I really like it: a "Who is Who?", where everyone who is interested can see with whom one is actually dealing...

How do I envisage this now? There will be another, permanently pinned post in which the self-introductions of everyone (who feels like it) will be linked bit by bit. I could certainly put this together in a quiet minute and with a lot of diligent work; after all, most of us have written some kind of introduction post or fulfilled these so-called achievements at some point. But I don't like it that way. After all, we are gathered here in the Community of creative writers ;-)) It may also no longer be up-to-date in every case...

I would much rather have a new and exciting round of introductions in which everyone - voluntarily, of course, it's not a condition or requirement! - tells us about themselves, what they think is important and what they might reveal to us all. After all, I really see us as a community in which people call each other "friend" but hardly know anything about each other.

So: it may be funny, detailed, special or even brilliant - the main thing is that we get to know and appreciate each other a little better!

In the further course, these in-depth portraits will be summarised and linked under one umbrella, i.e. a "Who is Who?" post, so that we build up an internal small reference work where every inclined reader can inform himself about our authors.

I emphasise again that this is NOT a condition for posting within the Community. It is merely an offer and perhaps a welcome occasion to think about oneself again ;-))

Guten Morgen, Ihr Lieben!

Weil wir als Community in relativ kurzer Zeit bereits ordentlich gewachsen sind und eine stattliche Anzahl aktiver Autoren aus den verschiedensten Ecken der Welt verzeichnen können, habe ich da 'mal eine Idee. Also – eigentlich ist die ja auch nur geklaut – kenne ich in der Form aus Deutsch Unplugged, meiner Heimat-Community, und gefällt mir ausnehmend gut: ein "Wer ist Wer?" (“Who is Who?“), in dem jeder Interessierte schauen kann, mit wem man es eigentlich zu tun hat…

Wie stelle ich mir das nun vor? Es wird einen weiteren, ständig angepinnten Post geben, in dem nach und nach von jedem, der Lust darauf hat, die Selbstvorstellungen verlinkt werden. Das könnte ich sicher in einer ruhigen Minute und mit viel Fleißarbeit zusammen suchen; die meisten von uns haben schließlich irgendwann eine Art Introduction Post verfaßt oder diese sogenannten Achievements erfüllt. Mag ich aber gerade nicht bzw. gefällt mir so nicht. Wir sind hier schließlich in der Community der kreativen Schreiber versammelt ;-)) Ist außerdem vielleicht auch gar nicht mehr in jedem Fall aktuell...

Ich hätte viel lieber eine neue und spannende Vorstellungsrunde, in der jeder – natürlich freiwillig, ist keine Bedingung oder Auflage! - von sich erzählt, was er für wichtig hält und was er uns allen preisgeben mag. Schließlich sehe ich uns wirklich als Gemeinschaft, in der man sich zwar „Freund“ nennt, aber dabei kaum etwas voneinander weiß.

Also: es darf witzig, ausführlich, speziell oder sogar brillant sein – Hauptsache, wir lernen uns untereinander etwas besser kennen und schätzen!

Ich betone noch einmal, daß es sich hierbei NICHT um eine Bedingung handelt, um innerhalb der Community posten zu dürfen. Es ist lediglich ein Angebot und vielleicht ja auch ein willkommener Anlaß, einmal wieder gründlich über sich selbst nachzudenken ;-))
