A comment on some of the recent posts: I noticed that - especially newer users - copy the tags of existing, mostly successful posts and use them themselves. Now tags are actually quite a significant matter; they either have to do with the specific topic and content of a post or serve to make it easier to find in a specific competition, in a specific initiative. If they are then used incorrectly through such a copy/paste error, it is annoying and can lead to irritation.

Our Author Guidelines contain some great tips on how to tag correctly and sensibly; feel free to check them out every now and then ;-))

Have you realized that, five months after our foundation as a Community, we have saved up our own 1,000 SP on the Community Account and around 500 SP on the Charity Account? Eine Bemerkung zu einigen der letzten Posts: ich habe bemerkt, daß – vor allem neuere User – die tags vorliegender, meist erfolgreicher Posts kopieren und selbst verwenden. Nun sind tags tatsächlich eine recht bedeutungsvolle Angelegenheit; sie haben entweder mit dem konkreten Thema und Inhalt eines Beitrages zu tun oder dienen der besseren Auffindbarkeit in einem bestimmte Wettbewerb, in einer speziellen Initiative. Wenn sie dann falsch verwendet werden durch so einen copy / paste – Fehler, ist das ärgerlich und führt ggf. zu Irritationen.

In unseren Autoren-Richtlinien sind einige propere Tipps zum korrekten und sinnvollen taggen enthalten; schaut ruhig immer 'mal wieder dort hinein ;-))

Ist Euch aufgefallen, daß wir, fünf Monate nach unserer Neugründung als Community, eigene 1.000 SP auf dem Community Account und um 500 SP auf dem Charity Account zusammengespart haben? Nicht zu vergessen die vielen Auszahlungen an unsere erfolgreichen Wettbewerbsteilnehmer und einige Spendenaktionen, die wir initiieren konnten… Ich will 'mal so sagen: wir sind echt gut ;-))
