Deutsch im Anschluß…

Fraud!! That's FRAUD, the just expired "Keyword of the Week " - and the fact that there have been such nice, cheerful and optimistic prompts here, but none of them came close to the response we just achieved with FRAUD.

As we are still a very small Community, I consider a total of 10 entries to be a wonderful new benchmark against which future competitions will now have to be measured ;-)) And even better: all the entries submitted are at a pleasantly high level - you all are great!

So once again I was faced with an almost impossible task: choosing two winners. Because one of our authors wondered why he had never been chosen as the winner before, I will perhaps add a few words about my "system". Although that's a gross exaggeration - I don't have one. I read all posts thoroughly. If something seems inappropriate to me, I'll point it out immediately and point out any omissions. If I don't, there's nothing wrong with the post...

And I am spoilt for choice based on the degree of my enthusiasm, my entertainment, my satisfaction. No more, no less. I don't want to penalise anyone, but I know very well that my process is highly subjective. Nevertheless, I would like to stick to it; a kind of rotation in the awarding of prizes, so that everyone is considered once, does not seem right to me. That would be far too much in keeping with the exercises in diligence that are perhaps honoured more fairly in other places, but certainly not in an artistically appropriate way.

I apologise if I have given the impression that I am perhaps not judging fairly. Solomon also had to learn first, I suppose... ;-))

As always, my own contribution will of course not be judged. My favourite will not be considered today either; I would nevertheless like to mention that @ty-ty has delivered a great piece of literature with his fictional dialogue in which the narrator steadfastly / desperately / in vain(?) refuses to succumb to the whispers of the AI and to accept it as equal to a human counterpart!

Alone - I know that he doesn't really care about Steem and other monetary rewards and that his writing stems from a different drive. So I'll just show my respect with words of appreciation and award the prizes to the rest of the participants.

who reminds us that fraud does not always have to be of a criminal nature, but on the contrary often seems to be much more difficult to recognise as self-deception and also more difficult to avoid.

By the way, all other participants receive 1 STEEM each, as I cannot hide the fact that each individual story brings its own particular tragedy and touches in a very special way.

Betrug!! Das ist BETRUG, das soeben verfallene “Schlüsselwort der Woche“ - und die Tatsache, daß es hier schon so schöne, fröhliche und optimistische Prompts gab, aber keins davon an die Resonanz heranreichte, die wir eben mit BETRUG erzielten.

Da wir immer noch eine sehr kleine Community sind, betrachte ich ganze 10 Teilnahmen als wunderbare neue Meßlatte, an der sich künftige Wettbewerbe nun messen lassen müssen ;-)) Und besser noch: alle eingereichten Beiträge bewegen sich auf angenehm hohem Niveau – Ihr seid prima!

Für mich stellte sich daher wieder einmal eine schier unlösbare Aufgabe: die Auswahl von zwei Gewinnern. Weil einer unserer Autoren sich fragte, warum er noch nie zum Sieger gekürt wurde, schiebe ich vielleicht ein paar Worte zu meinem „System“ ein. Wobei das gnadenlos übertrieben ist – ich habe keins. Alle Beiträge werden gründlich von mir gelesen. Wenn mir etwas unpassend erscheint, merke ich das sofort an, auf Versäumnisse weise ich hin. Tue ich das nicht, ist mit dem Beitrag alles in Ordnung…

Und die Qual der Wahl löse ich anhand des Grades meiner Begeisterung, meiner Unterhaltung, meiner Zufriedenheit. Nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Ich möchte niemanden benachteiligen, weiß aber sehr wohl, daß mein Verfahren höchst subjektiv ist. Trotzdem möchte ich dabei bleiben; eine Art Rotation bei der Preisvergabe, damit jeder einmal bedacht wird, scheint mir nicht richtig zu sein. Das entspräche nämlich wieder viel zu sehr den Fleißübungen, die an anderen Stellen vielleicht sozial gerechter, aber sicher nicht künstlerisch angemessen honoriert werden.

Es tut mir leid, wenn der Eindruck entstanden ist, ich würde vielleicht nicht fair schiedsrichtern. Auch Salomon mußte zunächst lernen, nehme ich an… ;-))

Mein eigener Beitrag bleibt natürlich wie immer außerhalb der Wertung. Auch mein Favorit wird heute nicht bedacht; erwähnen möchte ich trotzdem, daß @ty-ty mit seinem fiktiven Dialog, in dem der Erzähler sich standhaft / verzweifelt / vergeblich(?) wehrt, den Einflüsterungen der KI zu erliegen und sie als gleichwertig einem menschlichen Gegenüber zu akzeptieren, ein großartiges Stück Literatur abgeliefert hat!

Allein – ich weiß, daß ihm Steem und andere monetäre Belohnungen so ziemlich egal sind und sein Schreiben einem anderen Antrieb entspringt. Ich bekunde meinen Respekt also unbesorgt durch anerkennende Worte und vergebe die Preise unter den restlichen Teilnehmern.

der uns daran erinnert, daß Betrug nicht immer krimineller Natur sein muß, sondern im Gegenteil als Selbstbetrug oft deutlich schwerer erkennbar und auch schwerer vermeidbar zu sein scheint.

Alle anderen Teilnehmer erhalten übrigens jeweils 1 STEEM, da ich nicht verhehlen kann, daß jede einzelne Geschichte ihre besondere Tragik mit sich bringt und auf ganz spezielle Art berührt.
