Contest - Story 5: "Oh, Mom, what should I do?"

Hi, dear Steemians,

My fifth contest is based on a phrase. I am giving you an entire plot that you have to convert into a story. It means you have more freedom to develop your own story based on this idea. As usual, I am expecting as much imagination from you as you can muster. Go as wild as you can. We all know we can create wonderful stories in fiction, as it provides you with all kinds of ideas for your imagination, so here is your chance.

Your protagonist has an internal struggle going on in their mind, and they are on the verge of committing suicide. Now you have to show us the thoughts going on in their minds. You have to show us how many conflicts and thoughts are going on in their mind within 400 to 1000 words.

This is the subject of this story. You have to show us the twists in the story. We know that your character is struggling with deep conflicts and problems and is unable to solve them.

There is something preventing them from achieving their goal, and that is the subject of your story. What is stopping the character? What's stopping them and what's the background of their problems and how they solve it is the theme.

So let's say your protagonist, a woman or a man, is suffering from a problem, and you have to describe their feelings, and in the end, you have to tell whether they found a solution to their problem or ended their life. You are the judge who knows how to end the story. Was it on a sad or pleasant note?

Give me something that readers as well as steemcurators find amazing, and they upvote your posts. Please keep the upper limit of 1000 words for your story and show us as much creativity as you can within this limit.
