Albatross who became a legend.
I'll go and find food for our baby, you incubate him now, it must be hard for you to wander the sea leaving our baby behind, My Darling.
An Albatross said this to his wife, they had welcomed their first born. Now they were incubating and nurturing him alternately.
It was male albatross's turn to find food and land on sea water because they were currently on the land for breeding.
Albatross left after loving his wife and flew towards the sea where a few sailing boats were present.
Albatross is often perceived as a lucky charm which brings success and prosperity. Sailors were often heard saying that their journey goes without any hurdle when any albatross pass above their boat. And their trade flourishes always and they return with more boats next time.
Albatross was the Prince of the Wave
The sailor on the boat saw albatross who was about to land on the water for food and smiled thinking about the success in his trade.
He was also drinking wine in broad day light with a gun hanging on his right shoulder. Drinking, he went to one corner of the boat to see the calm water.
Suddenly, he realised a shadow approaching him from beneath the water. He was stunned to see it was a women swimming swiftly.
He flinched with horror when he saw her full body, she had face and trunk of human but below that she was a fish or bird. It was hard to guess what it was because she also had the feathers.
It was a mistake which he made and looked in her eyes, one eye of emerald and another of sapphire. He lost it and confessed how beautiful she is. He wanted to jump into the water to embrace her.
Siren it was, precisely.
On the other hand, siren was happy to see her new prey to feed on in order to increase her lifespan. She wanted to sing him a melodious song but couldn't.
Suddenly, she saw an albatross nearby who is the symbol of lucky charm, she couldn't kill the sailor in the presence of the sea bird.
She looked back at the sailor, smiled, and said Kill him to get me.
The sailor high on wine and lust he had for the beautiful women, obeyed her. He took off his gun and fired a bullet on albatross.
He did it. Albatross who was on the mission to take food for his wife and child fell in the sea.
Blood was everyhwhere around him but it was his eyes who had the stock in them. As if he couldn't believe the sailor killed him for whose prosperity in trade he used to pray to God.
The sailor forgot all this in his lust and looked again on the siren, as if saying i have done it for you.
The siren sang a melody to seduce the sailor completely, he couldn't resist it and jumped into the water and embraced the siren.
The body of albatross was on the other side of the sea, its blood started to flow towards sailor and siren. The wrath of hurting a sea bird had began.
Siren held the man close to him and embraced him finally to kill him. She killed him mercilessly for he deserved it for killing an innocent bird for his own temptations.
She felt pride and supremacy in her dangerous skills, however, it could only last for few minutes.
She felt suffocation when the dead albatross's body reached her, When the feathers of albatross touched siren's, her body started to collapse.
She became albatross around the neck
Killing albatross and sailor couldn't increase her life span instead it immediately killed her with a sudden explosion in the sea.
Blood of albatross was left alone on the water.
It's a sin to kill a Sea Bird
Decades have passed now but no sailing boat could make it safely to the other end of the sea. It would sink in the water without any apparent danger in sight.
Sailors have stoped going in that sea consequently no siren was seen again. (no sailor no siren).
The lucky charm for the sailor's trade was gone leaving loss for everyone behind.
The whole sea is dedicated to albatross who left his familyin search for food and never returned

Such an intriguing story I love it. I do wonder why a beautiful siren goes for a drunk sailor. Perhaps her purpose, doesn't have each living creature have one, is to clean the seasfrom this type of men.
Hahaha yes, sirens want all the sea for themselves but have to kill men to live longer, so gotta come in contact, you see it?

Urdu mey keyboard use krna boht mushkil lagta hey. I have mentioned this in one of my post. It's one thing to write with pen and another to write through keyboard. Somehow I can only type in English (and roman urdu - like I did in the beginning of this reply) plus again I'm not much of a poet. I can write a few verses and sometimes a little poem 🫣😉
