The life is a song- Sway

 

Music is always was important part in my life, it does not mean that I am a musician or that I sing but I just love to listen music and often I love to sing just for me when nobody is there.

I do not think that I have a voice to sing that is why I try not to sing among my friends or family but I love singing together with for example running song, so to say together with a song. In that case nobody can hear well my voice but I can sing along.

When I was a child I heard different music that my parents loved and one of it became my favourite song too despite of how many years gone and how many different music styles and music now exist.

 

 

Sway by Dean Martin

 

There are many reasons why I love this song:

• I love this style of songs in Retro music
• The voice of Dean Martin has slouchiest baritone and that is transmits ease and comfort
• The text of the song has romance and everyone can associate themselves with the situation like in this song
• The time when Dean performed song it was in 60's that is why I also love those costumes, they are very elegant and classical

When I hear that song it always reminds me my father, because it was his favourite song too and he was listening it when we were little, I still can recall those evening when I was staring at his face and could see him deep in his own world maybe the world of music or maybe he was dreaming about something. So I was not only listening to music but I was reading the emotions on the face of my father.

Later on I heard the performance of the same song by different Artists, despite of that performance by Dean Martin remains the only one that I love.

When I feel good I catch myself singing this song, no not the song but couple of lines from it. I also feel that it makes me to like dance too.

I do not think I ever will be brave enough to perform that song for others or even to sing on karaoke, I do not feel I will be able to do and I do not want to be an entertainment for others. Although we often can see that some people even though they do not like to sing but then once they singing it sound not bad and sometimes we can discover talents too by such accidents.
