Tour to Ella & Nine arch bridge with wife by motor bike

As I introduce myself in my first article, I am a traveler. This one is about one of my best enjoyable tour. Date was 10th November 2020. I planned a road trip to upcountry several months ago. I applied for a two days leave from my working place & I was lucky to get them without any barrier.

My alarm wakes us early in the morning around 04.00am. Then we getup & ready for our exited tour. When the time comes 5.00am, we were able to leave from home. My ever loving travel partner motor bike taken us to Belihul oya without any trouble. Then we got our morning tea and breakfast from a small hotel. Then we started our journey again through Haputhale Mountain.

Traveling through Tea Estates

There was a great view point near Haputhale town. We spend some time in there & started the tour again. When we were close to Diyathalawa, we had to face for a rainy & misty whether condition.

We really enjoyed the ride through tea estates with the hard misty condition & it was a great experience. Natural beauty of upcountry makes us feel better than ever.

Then we reach to Ella & Nine arch bridge. This is a railway bridge & these types of bridges are commonly known as viaduct bridges.

This bridge was constructed by local builders with the help of British engineers. This bridge has an alias called The Bridge in the sky. Next to the Nine arch bridge, there was a railway tunnel.

When we were there train has arrive. At that time I was realize that, why tourists were attractive to this place.

We had our lunch by a village hotel side by the walking path to Bridge in the sky. Then we started come back to my residence with the memories, which we collected.
