- The Norwegian Parliament (Storting) decides in Oslo the country joined the League of Nations. Against the decision of the representatives of the Workers' Party and Carl Joachim Hambro agree as a leading representative of the right. Mainly because of the activities of the polar explorer and diplomat Frithjof Nansen Norway has so far been a very strong supporter of the League of Nations thought.
