Knowing Venezuela Part 2 / Second Anthem The Soul Flame.

in #history6 years ago

For me as Venezuelan, it is an immense pleasure to present the story of our second national anthem, which is 103 years old:

The Alma Llanera

Voice: Simon Diaz Venezuelan Singer

The Alma Llanera, is a song that dates from 1914, when it was presented as zarzuela and bore the same name, the lyrics are by Rafael Bolivar crowned, who for the time presented an act in the theater of Caracas.

In December of 1914, it was decided to separate the song from the work. The music was in charge of the maestro Pedro Elías Gutiérrez, who was at that time as director of the Caracas Marcial Band, being sung in the Bolivar Square in Caracas as part of the musical repertoire to end the end of the year

From Alli the tradition; The Alma llanera, it is mandatory to use it at the end of any party or social event, at the end of it to make it clear that the party ended.

This song is sung in all country events equal to our National Anthem.

Alma Llanera has crossed the borders of our country, and has been sung by singers from almost all national and international latitudes such as Simón Díaz, Alfredo Sadel, Julio Iglesias, Gustavo Dudamel, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Philharmonic Orchestra of Paris, Orchestra Symphony Simon Bolivar of Venezuela entered others.

This country has a lot of culture to give, without a doubt I must also mention that as an original song, for its interpretation: the following musical instruments are used, which are from our country:

The four: 04 string instrument.

fuente

The Maracas: Instruments in round shape, supported by a mango, which inside has some seeds that make the rhythm of the music to be sung.

The Harp: Standing Instrument with a series of parallel strings attached to a triangular frame, consisting of: the soundboard, the pegbox and the mast.
