Aceh!!! A small country in Indonesia.

There are so many reviews from aceh itself, even the definition of name alone is expressed in many languages. As in Dutch (Aceh is called Atchin or Acheh), in English (Aceh is called Achin), in French (Aceh is called Achen or Acheh), in Arabic (Aceh is called Asyi), in Portuguese (Aceh is called Achen or Achem), and so many in other languages. Why do so many languages mean? Because they have all been in Aceh. Aceh is too much history to disclose.

Speaking with Aceh, in Aceh itself there are many language differences in each region. Slight differences such as in Aceh Besar, Pidie, and Aceh Utara. Similarly, in Gayo there is Gayo Lut, Gayo Deret, and Gayo Lues dialect and other ethnic groups of Singkil in the southeast using singkil language. A number of other historical sources can be obtained such as from Hikayat Aceh, Hikayat Raja Aceh and Hikayat Sabi War which comes from narrative history which is then generally written in script jawi script. However, as the weakness of the narrative history based on pinutur, according to Prof. Ibrahim Alfian that the Hikayat Sabil (Aceh) texts have many versions of one another, there are differences as well as the 1700 Saga Hikayat War script in the library of Leiden University of the Netherlands.

History of Aceh to Shopping because once the Dutch had colonized Aceh and they greatly admire the power of the people of Aceh in the war with them even the spirit of Aceh Women are always mentioned in each of their history.

Back to the discussion of Aceh, formerly one believed that the origin of the Acehnese was the Mante tribe associated with Mantra in Malacca and the Mon-Khmer speakers. According to other historical sources the narrative mentioned that especially the population of Aceh Besar residence in the village of Seumileuk which is also called the village of House 12, which is located on top of Seulimeum mountain between Jantho village and Tangse village. Seumileuk means wide plains and Mantir then spread across the three sides of Aceh valley and then moved to other places until spread to other areas.

Aceh can also be grouped into four cultural divisions based on clans or also referred to as large tribes that follow the search among others through ancient languages, as follows;

  • 300 people from Mante culture as indigenous people of Aceh itself.
  • The four priests from southern India who are Hindus.
  • The Tok Batee (people of stone who came later) came from various Eurasian, East Asian and Arab ethnic groups.
  • Ja Jaang (indigenous people) are Indian immigrants who have generally converted to Islam either settled in Aceh or returned to India.

So many discussions we can lift and tell the world about the history of our country, from the history of the origins of the formation of the state to the colonialism experienced in every struggle to defend their respective regions. This is just hiluk piluk basically, the next story you can follow again in my next posting. Thank you
