Kilis
The communities in the research began to live in Kilis in 3000 BC. Kilis was first used by the Assyrians as a city. In later years, Kilis was conquered by the Hittite kingdom.
After the Hittite kingdom, Kilis was conquered by the Persian Empire. After the Persians were defeated by Alexander the Great they abandoned the Kilis. And Kilis became a city of the Roman Empire. And for many years Kilis was ruled by the Roman and Byzantine empires.
In 1516, Kilis was conquered by the Ottoman Empire. After the breakup of the Ottoman Empire, Kilis has been a city of the Republic of Turkey.
