RE: Excremento Fine Lignum Unum: A Brief History

in #history8 years ago

I discovered much of this when researching the toilet habits of muslims, after working with one at my job and repeatedly finding turds snaked over the seat of the toilet, and sometimes on the floor. It turns out, they get their feet up on the seat, do their business, and then they wash their ass in the sink. So, if you are sharing a sink with a muslim, wash your hands somewhere else, before you eat.

I also learned never shake left handed. The video is really pretty good. The Japanese really have turned the toilet into something special.

You can tell how advanced a culture is partially by how their toilet facilities operate, or don't. Perhaps you've seen people trumpeting the magnificence of Dubai? Well, it turns out they were too busy praying to take classes in plumbing and sewage management. Here is what happens when you give the third world more oil money than they have numbers to count, and don't teach them how to "handle their sh*t".

Unbelievable! They need to get in touch with the Japanese, except I doubt it would help. They may have progressed financially, but culturally they haven't evolved past 622!

Maybe someone there should start a movement.
