In november 1902 was the construction of the railway between Narvik and the border to Sweden completed. This pier was used to bring supplies to the construction work. We can still see parts of the road goes from the pier to the railway in the mountains above. Horses were used to bring supplies to the construction work.
A piece of history from the north of Norway. Best regards
The time goes and more modern technology replaced the old one but I love that pier with large rock stones and you captured beautiful reflection on water :)
History always nostalgic. Imagine about those days when horses were carrying the materials. With your description I can feel and visible in front of my eyes. Really amazing piece of history. Thanks for sharing.

The car road was maybe built in the early 1990s, but the railroad probably in the early 20th century? :)
