The Great Untold Hidden History Of The Ewe Community. (Volta Region Originally Known As The Western TogoLand)

The Volta Region is one of the Regions blessed with lots of natural resources such as;

• Gold
• Iron Ore
• Manganese
• Clinker
• Uranium
  And several resources including Timber, vast Land. This resources were discovered by the Germans during their rule over the Great Ewe Land. Aside this great resources, there were also great men with mysteries beyond the understanding of men.
  Today, I will talk about one of such great men.

In the your 1635, a great woman among the Ewe's gave birth in Notsie, a town in southeast Togo, behold she gave birth to twins and they were named Tsali and Tsala and were both blessed with potent Spiritual Powers.

Tsala, who later became known as Okomfo Anokye, (fetish priest Anokye), left Notsie at a youthful age, and finally settled at Awukugua which is called Eastern Region. Because of his Spiritual Powers, he became known to everyone and well feared. He later came back to Notsie around 1695 to discus with his brother about a position which is been offered him in the Great Ashanti Kingdom by the King, Osei Tutu to help build His kingdom before taking any further steps.

During the reign of King Opoku Ware, a war broke out around 1746, Tsala (Okomfo Anokye) sought permission from the king to visit his twin brother Tsali at Keteklebi (Fiaxor) to celebrate and fortify himself at the annual Dzawuwu (a major festival) celebration of Mama Adexe shrine before leading the Ashantis to the war which he won decisively for the Ashanti kingdom.”

One day, a misunderstanding came between father and son, and out of anger, Tsali challenged his father to a public display of supernatural powers called Amlimatsitsi (to be dead in the spirit world and never to be found). In response to this challenge, the father (Akplormada meaning, the spear that can never be thrown), removed his own intestines, washed them in a herbal preparation and dried them to give himself more life on Earth. Tsali then turned into a hawk and carried his father’s intestines away into space. Tsali searched in vain for the tallest tree on which to settle and swallow the intestines of his father. But Akplormada [had] commanded all the trees in the vicinity to be dwarfed. [He then] turned himself into the tallest tree upon which Tsali came to settle. Before Tsali could swallow his father’s intestines, Akplormada reached out his hands and Tsali dropped the intestines right into his father’s unseen palms.

Akplormada [then] ridiculed his son with the words: "You know how to turn into a hawk as I had taught you, but you don’t know how to turn into a silk-cotton tree.” There his father been older, stronger and more experienced than Tsali, Akplormada defeated Tsali his younger son and arrested him.

Before his arrest, Tsali had gathered all his personal effects into a haversack and slung it over his shoulder. At the meeting (local court), he was tied hands and feet … with a great weight of granite rocks hung over his neck and fastened to his back. Looking like a monster, Tsali was drowned in the Volta Lake [River]. All the villagers that was present that day and witness this event saw him sink, but on the third day, Tsali was seen by fishermen as he moved on the waters floating on the back of a crocodile he had commanded to come to his rescue. Floating adrift on the crocodile’s back, Tsali held aloft all the granite rocks in his hands and was shouting “Vinowo, mikpo vida:(meaning; parents behold your child”. There was great consternation in the village: the fishermen abandoned their canoes and ran for their life. The women yelled and screamed, calling on the whole village to come and see. Tsali [then] decided to leave Tongu for good.”

Aside all this great wonders, the common and well known miracle Tsala performed in the Great Ashanti Kingdom is bringing down the Golden Stool from the Heavens through a Human sacrifice (a self volunteer who gave up his life) which is now the pride and treasure of the Kingdom.

It is also proven that the twin brothers, Atsu Tsala (aka Okomfo Anokye) and Tse Tsali did not die natural deaths. They just disappeared and to this day, nobody is able to tell where they went or were buried.

Before Tsala (Okomfo Anokye) disappearance, he deepen a sword into the earth that has never been pulled out by anyone till date.
