पर आदमकद का पुष्पहार चढ़ाने वाले तीसरे महत्वपूर्ण
व्यक्ति नेताजी सुभाषचन्द्र बोस थे जिन्होंने पुष्पाहार से एक
चिट निकाल कर सन्निकट खड़ी इन्दिरा गांधी को दी थी ।
वे बौद्ध भिक्षु के वेश में थे । तत्कालीन कुछ समाचार-पत्रों
में इस संबंध में समाचार ही नहीं उस वक्त का फोटो भी
प्रकाशित हुआ था । चित्र में स्पष्ट ही नेताजी से
मिलतेजुलते व्यक्ति का चित्र था । भारत सरकार के प्रवक्ता
ने यह कह कर खण्डन किया कि नेहरू जी के शव पर
पुष्पमाला अर्पित करने वाला तीसरा व्यक्ति धर्मपाल नामक
बौद्ध भिक्षु था लेकिन जब इसकी जांचपड़ताल हुई तो बौद्ध
भिक्षु धर्मपाल ने साफ इंकार कर दिया कि वे नेहरूजी के
शव पर पुष्पाहार अर्पित करने गये थे । शाहदरा से प्रकाशित
होने वाले अपने आवधिक पत्र में नेता जी के अफगानिस्तान
में साथी रहे उत्तम चन्द्र ने इस विषय में एक विस्तृत समाचार
चर्चित चित्र के साथ दिया था। बाद में पाठचजन्य' के
28 जनवरी 1996 के अंक में भी यह चित्र प्रकाशित हुआ
था ।
भारत हैवी इंजीनियरिंग निगम के इंजीनियर ए. सरकार तीन
बार रूस भेजे गये थे । उन्होंने यह खबर लाकर दी कि एक
जर्मन यहूदी वी.. जेरोबीन ने उनको बताया कि नेताजी
को साइबेरिया में एक यातना शिविर में रखा गया था जहाँ
उनसे उनकी भेंट हुई थी । यह सन् 1961 की बात है ।
जेरोबीन के यह पूछने पर कि क्या आप भारत जा रहे हैं ।
उन्होंने उत्तर दिया था - 'शायद जल्दी ही जाऊँ। उन दोनों
की यह बात जर्मन भाषा में हुई थी । तभी उनका मंगोलियाई
अनुवादक बोल उठा - ‘नाट एलाउड ।’’ जेरोबीन ने
इंजीनियर ए. सरकार को हिदायत दी थी कि नेताजी के रूस
में होने की बात कहीं न कहें, वरना हम दोनों की जान को
खतरा हो सकता है। इस हिदायत के बावजूद सरकार
महोदय ने मास्को स्थित भारतीय दूतावास से इस विषय पर
जब संपर्क किया तो वहां के सचिव ने उन्हें कड़ी फटकार
लगाते हुए चेतावनी दी जिससे सहम कर वे चुप हो गए।
यह प्रसंग समर गुहा ने अपने एक लेख में उठाते हुए ये
सब लिखा था ।
नेताजी रूस में 1946 में थे, इसका एक प्रमाण अमरीका
के प्रिंसटन विश्वविद्यालय के संग्रहालय में 1990 में मिले
एक दस्तावेज से होता है। 12 जुलाई 1945 को खुर्शीद
बेन ने प्रमुख अमरीकी पत्रकार लुई फिशर को एक पत्र
लिखते हुए स्पष्ट किया था कि यदि रूस की मदद से बोस
भारत आये हैं तो उनका कोई कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता ।
खुर्शीद बेन महात्मा गांधी के बहुत निकट थीं ।
