Træe, Old Farmhouse From 1780
Træe
Træe (place to go), house and farmhouse under the farm Line, is from about 1780. It was used until after 1900. In 1997, it was restored throughout.
Træe is a farmhouse with a SouthEast/NorthWest direction. The living room is very small, about 3.5x3.5m. The kitchen has earth flooring. The ceiling has handmade pans. The materials used in this type of house were otherwise characterized by sparse use of wood, that was stone and straw cladding, and grass ceilings that constituted the building materials. The living room was usually of timber, while the ends were stone walls. The barn is built into the ground, with landscaping and space for two cows.
Træe is located just off Fv44 south of Bryne and is now used as a museum.
