North Korea and South Korea finally coming up with Peace Treaty after half century?
It is sounding like North Korea and South Korea may finally have a peace treaty. It also sounds like CIA Director/Secreteary of Defense may have met with members of these parties over Easter.
Now Barack Obama, got a Noble Peace prize and then went on to come saw and kill Ghadaffi and do such a terrible job nation building that slaves were being sold in the streets. If Trump helps bring an end to the pointless Korean war and help open up the insane prison state we are told is in Pyonyang perhaps he should be awarded the highest accolades of our world.
What a nice world it would be if we stopped with all these pointless conflicts and if all people world wide can finally be free to compete and make lives they choose for themselves.
It will be interesting how all this plays out. But if Trump realizes peace with Koreas and doesn’t add another regime change to America’s legacy would be great.

Living on this side of the world we have such a different view of things. North Korea is not a bad guy, just a country that wants to be able to live life the way they want. But they feel threatened by the US and others. With that said, I do not agree with their tactics or the way they have treated their people. I hope they can reach peace and if Mr. Trump is in the middle of all of this, he should win some type of award. Thanks for this post. Are you in America?

I think that this would really be great if we can have peace between these two countries. It has been way too long with families divided and living on both sides. But to say that it has been Trump doing this is not really accurate. China has been more in the middle of all of this and the North Koreans are taking their lead from them. Their entire agenda has to been to be able to demand respect and it seems like them building a nuclear weapon has gotten then just that. Now they have the most powerful nation in the world doing what they said they would never do; negotiate with them while they have nuclear weapons.
So it is complicated, but in the end, I hope that we do get peace for the sake of the world. Thanks.
