HOW & WHY 'Big Oil' Conquered The World by @corbettreport
Earlier today I visited www.corbettreport.com and sat back to watch a documentary by James Corbett (@corbettreport) on a page entitled How & Why Big Oil Conquered The World. To my delight, the documentary turned out to have a second part and I spent a couple of hours being taken through an ultra deep, well-presented and thoroughly researched journey. Fascinating connections were made and hidden patterns operating beneath the ordinary fabric of current human society revealed, like invisible ink appearing under UV light.
This is a superb presentation of material that peels back layers of conditioned beliefs and belief structures. If you are reading this on the blockchain - as most of you probably are :) - I guess that you may be more or less accepting of the notion that shadowy and unaccountable hands of power are the real puppet masters, invisible and behind the scenes, yet always in control. Yes? It is not easy to present a coherent picture of this shadow-play. It is no small matter to meticulously research and sift through vast amounts of material, knowing that debunkers will be looking for the smallest of cracks! This is a journalistic masterpiece in my opinion!
I have been following James Corbett ever since I discovered him several months ago. He goes really deep, no bullshit, no drama, no simple skimming of surfaces. What he speaks about and how he presents his materials resonate very well with me, and I love the depth into which he goes without losing focus. I'm not going to discuss the documentaries - the title provides an adequate summary, although the scope is much wider than simply the Petrodollar. I'd rather leave it up to you to discover. If you are familiar with James Corbett's work, you'll know the kind of quality and depth I am referring to. If you're not, but have had your curiosity roused by my brief introduction, then I guess you'll look and see for yourself, without any need for middle-interpretation or further encouragement :).
If this kind of stuff is relatively (or completely?) new to you, it may come across as incredible and far-fetched, tempting easy dismissal with the 'C' word. However, on his 'Big Oil' webpage and just under the videos, James Corbett has provided a complete transcript which you will see on the screen as you scroll down the page. In this transcript he has linked every quoted source and reference so that it can be explored, checked up on and delved into for oneself. It is all backed up. What is really and truly incredible is the manner in which these lies that are here being exposed have been sold wholesale to the global public - punters like you and me - quite some feat of social engineering that!
We are - in this present moment - at the cutting edge of dramatically changing times. In order to ride this wave, we would serve ourselves, the process of change and everyone else a lot more efficiently if we ourselves are able to embrace Change. This is primarily an inner adjustment, a shift of perception. Nothing much is the way we were told it was, little is as it appears to be! In this age of the maturing internet and the adolescent blockchain, we are already our own bankers - this is precisely what we are on the STEEM blockchain! We can do it, we can gradually take our power back! We are also our own thinkers, and we can become aware of the ways in which our perceptions and opinions have been manipulated since childhood. We are not powerless, we can peel back the layers of conditioning that tell us that the world is such and such, and that we are restricted to only X or Y options for living our lives. These are lies - deep and pernicious - they've been repeated so often, by so many people in so many different contexts, that they have taken on the appearance of solidity, fact and truth. In reality, once lies are identified, their power is automatically diminished. Once there is an experience of alternative versions of events, alternative perceptions about how and what life is, one begins to take back one's power. And this empowerment of humanity is happening all around us, hidden, unreported, decentralised and collectively much more powerful than the Wizard Of Oz-esque puppet masters who scheme behind their ever-thinning veils of parasitic power!
Righty ho, if you've made it down here, and are up for watching, enjoy the ride friends, it's an eye-opener!

Thank you @catweasel, I saw the post and well, it's very nice to have one's name up in bright lights :D
The first one isn't to hard to watch. I guess it's not so much of a surprise to us now. The second one is proving a harder pill to swallow. I've not managed to finish it yet. Up to the third section.
He does go in very deep! The question is 'how big is the lie' - and it seems that it is BIG, so big that it's hidden in plain sight, almost. The lie has so many ostensible dependencies that it has the appearance of being too big to fail, but that too is a lie - it's a 'failed' system already in that sense. I did at one stage think that he had omitted certain aspects - like mind control through sexual abuse and torture, but I concede that this may fall under one or another of his headings, and that he has tackled the subject elsewhere (I think).
I'm positive though @minismallholding - visibility, awareness, cutting out the middle-guy are on the increase. The Control Structure is going nuts trying to hold on to slippery power. In a human context, the control freak is freaking out, out of control, and therefore, in the end game. Sun is beginning to shine where it's not been for centuries! The drama increases as the transition takes place.
There's no turning back the pages of history, no return to dark feudal fascism. I don't think we really know what true freedom tastes like anymore as a species, but we're beginning to get it by identifying what it is defnitely not.
And now it's as if they don't even try to hide it any more. The blinkers are too securely on and the denial to strong.
Now I see the explanation, it all makes so much more sense. It's like a moment of enlightenment and all the puzzle pieces suddenly fit together. Before it made no sense with everyone is throwing in different explanations and reasons for why things are falling apart.
It suddenly occurred to me that the only people who resisted this and didn't help support it all the way were the Amish.
I think that in times of uncertainty and fearmongering, people retreat into conservative and restricted living (suspicious, hoarding, fearful), held onto fast and tight, and therefore rigid - the apparent solidity of 'blinkers' and 'denials'. But it's like holding up a piece of paper to shield one from the blast, literally paper-thin. When the breach takes place, there is action (coz nowhere left to hide/retreat) - whether expansive and towards life, or the other way, is up to the individual and the choices they make. I don't believe that, left to govern themselves, humans would turn into 'savages' - that's another lie, besides the current level of 'organised savagery' would be hard to beat. In fact, it's likely that when people really see and experience the 'broken-ness' of the system, and at the same time, realise that alternatives exist, the shift could be exponential (tipping point, 100th monkey effect) and swift. Unlikely to be 'smooth' lol - a certain chaos, upheaval, disorder until the dust settles and maybe, humanity wakes up to a new paradigm, purged, humbled and wiser........why not? After all, the shift is really an internal one of perception ie stepping out of 'fear-based' living and into our individual (not sytem-derived) power; and as such, it ought to be well within our capabilites, and certainly within our potentialites, it seems!
I love your optimism. Unfortunately, I don't see the population waking up until it's too late for them. Our best example is probably Germany. For me, this poem says a lot:
People go into preservation mode if they are not immediately in line for being dispatched. They join what they hope is the winning side.
And I draw optimism even from this LOL..........
If I can speak up for myself, I will not need anyone to speak for me. By speaking up for myself non-violently, I also speak for collective humanity.
I think here lies the hidden and (hitherto) untapped power of individual potentiality, as well as the immense potential for uplifting change. Of course a shift of perception has to go hand in hand - that's the 'dropping of fear-based living', and the choice everyone always has. This is immensely powerful, utterly transformative!
Appearances are deceptive. The lies are big. I think that the notion of 'hopeless humanity' is simply another layer of disinformation that keeps perceptions in lower vibrating zones of disempowerment. The very nature of a shift is intensely dramatic - going from a dense dark dot to an explosion of colour in very little time indeed. The sob stories abound, they are the 'appearances', they are deceptive and not what they seem.
We are fundamentally beings of infinite potentiality having a human experience. The dance, IMO, is shifting from a heavy, chaotic mix of limbs and bodies to something more harmonious - what that is, is the unwritten story yet to come, but it ain't gona be like the past, that's the one thing we can be certain of, coz the future is never like the past, nor ever has been!
My 2 favourite documentaries. Corbett is an inspirational journalist, great to see more folks tuning in. Resteemed!!
