We've been working for months getting things ready for this collaboration. @tygs is embarking on a new format as we relaunch our Hip Hop Battle Series. Check out our page on the @hhtb blog to get the background information on Think You Got Skillz as we move to kick off our first battle.

The Beat Meet Pilot [Instagram]

Our first battle will focus on beat makers and take place on Instagram. As this is our pilot, we will be engaging the existing community where TYGS originated in Malaysia. Yes, we're here on Steemit and we have not forgotten about the community here, but we feel that if we can engage the Hip Hop community in Malaysia we can onboard new users to Steemit and continue to build the platform. Of course we will be doing battles here!

Auditions Have Kicked Off

October 24th 2018 marks the start of the Audition process. Auditions will run until 12th November and take place on Instagram with the use of the tag #tygsbeatmeet.

• 1 minute arrangement
• Post the highest quality
• Be creative with your video

• Based in Malaysia

What's Next?

While Auditions are taking place we will be announcing more partnerships and collaborations. We have so much to look forward to as we grow the platform to a wider audience and embark on our journey to grow the competitive spirit of Hip Hop around the world.

With our partnership with @hhtb we will be working towards our first battle here on Steemit, so follow the progress and get involved!
