Misterious cave under Somhegy, Bakony mountains
On Sunday, a friend of mine took me to very special and sacred places, where we found some signs of human intervention of an at least 3000-year-old civilization. It was a human settlement on the top of Somhegy, protected with stone rampart. There is a large cave inside the hill, and not easy to find the entrance of it. We were lucky, though we didn't use GPS. The entrance of the cave is a slit, where we climbed down on a ladder. This part of the cave is full of debris, though some has been removed. The cave system formed by nature is estimated to be several kilometers, but we found the entrance was built by people. What was its function? We don't know yet!
