Hiking the mountains in northern Norway.
On ski to Kopparfjellet 900 meter above sea .
During the Easter holiday we did a hike to a peak to a mountain called Kopparfjellet. The hike is around 10 km and go mainly upwards with some flat areas on the way up. We used around 2,5 hours up to the highest point. The weather was great, almost no wind and no reason to hurry.
From the parking the trail go up and behind this part of the mountain area.
When the first part is done the terrain is not so steep...
...util this steep slope where you can test the puls.
On the top of the slope you can see our ski trails where we came from.
From the top of the slope we can see the goal, the highest point of Kopparfjellet.
From here and up we have a nice view to the surrounding mountains.
Almost at the target.
Here are some pictures from the top with 360 degree view to the area around the top.
Something to eat and drink, and a rest is important.
Skiing downhill is easy and fun, just relax and enjoy the view.
Nero run off one of his socks on the way down.
A great hike and tumbs up.
Have a sunny day. Best regards
Harald
So much snow during the Easter holidays? Oh, we had 25 degrees in The Netherlands :) It was very hot and people were even swimming in the lakes even though water was still freezing cold :)
It looks like you had a great day! The views are amazing and the weather was stunning. How does your dog feel about this cold? I'm not sure if dogs can get a flu or something like this :)
Have a lovely rest of the weekend!
Thank you very much. Only my dog Nero have started the bathing season here north. 😊 Nero manage temperatures down to minus 10 -15 minus very good is. On this hike it was nice in the sun. Maybe 3-4 minus in the shadow. Have a great evening!

Your hike is such a contrast from mine, i nearly got bit by mosquitoes all the way
I am glad the mosquitoes not arrive until the middle of June. Fun to see different type of nature.
