It is one of those things that surpass their evident value. They actually mean something. I also still have my Walkman and my Atari 2600 among other things. (Not with me, but carefully packed on my parent's house with a radioactivy sign on the box).
A real technology fetishist! I always liked people who could cherish things like that, be it antiquities, art or like you technology. I can too but due to my nomadic childhood I keep the things I really treasure to a minimum and only things that can be carried in a shoulder bag :)
