Herbal Remedies for Pet Stomach: Prepare a safe remedy for pet stomach using herbs. Share the recipe and its benefits for your pet.

There are various natural ingredients that can be used as herbal remedies to treat stomach aches in pets. The class also explained about some of the ingredients and their benefits. However, I would recommend three ingredients to prepare this concoction.

Ingredients:

• Ginger 10 grams.
• Fennel 10 grams.
• Coriander seeds 10 grams.
• Water for boiling as much as ¼ liter.

How to prepare:

• Wash all ingredients properly and cleanly.
• Prepare a frying pan and add water to boil the ingredients.
• Cut the ginger, and put it in a pan filled with water.
• Add coriander seeds and fennel.
• Boil for ±10 minutes or until the water changes color and immediately turn off the stove.
• Strain into a container and let cool.

This concoction can be given to pets such as dogs and cats. Can be given a maximum of 3 times a day. It would be better if this concoction is diluted first before giving it to your pet.

Dosage : For dogs, give about 5ml and for cats, it can be given with a dose of 3ml. However, you need to pay attention to the size and weight of the animal, and this is as taught in this class.

For example, for small animals, give only 5 drops, medium size ¼ teaspoon, for large size ½ teaspoon, and larger sizes can be given as much as 1 teaspoon.

Benefits of herbal concoctions:

• Wash the aloe vera and cut it into pieces and then boil it in water.
• Peel the garlic, then cut it and put it in the boiling water.

• Strain into a spray and it is ready to use.

• Lime has an aroma that fleas do not like. The citric acid content in lime can be an effective antibacterial and antifungal agent to repel fleas that nest on the skin and fur of animals.

To make a remedy that can treat skin irritation in animals, I will use the following ingredients:

• 10 grams of turmeric
• 30 ml of olive oil
• 5 betel leaves.

How to make the remedy:

• Heat the olive oil in a container,
  clean the turmeric and cut it into small pieces then put it in the oil.

• Add the betel leaves.

• Fry in oil for about 10 minutes using medium heat.
  Let it cool and it is ready to use.

• Before using this remedy, the animal's skin should be cleaned so that this remedy can work optimally.

• After the animal's skin is sterile and clean, use cotton or your fingertips and dip it into the remedy then apply it to the sore or irritated skin.

• Massage gently so that the animal feels comfortable. Let this mixture soak for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. You can also dry it using a clean cloth and towel.

For healing:

• Do this treatment once a day and until the animal's skin is completely healed. ,, to avoid animals licking this mixture, you should accompany your pet during the treatment process and divert its attention by giving food or in other ways.

Benefits of the mixture:

• Turmeric: Turmeric can prevent pain and itching due to irritation on the animal's skin. Accelerates the healing process and closes wounds.

• Betel leaves: betel leaves can prevent infections caused by fungi on the animal's skin. Accelerates healing and reduces pain. The anti-stic properties of betel leaves can provide protection and reduce pain in animals.

• Olive oil: olive oil is useful for maintaining skin moisture and renewing skin cells damaged by irritation. Olive oil can also protect animal skin from irritation due to allergies.
