Maltepe hem İstanbul ilimizin bir ilçesi olup hem de eski zamanlarda bolca tüketilen bir sigara markasıdır. Ver bakalım bi maltepe sözü bundan 30 yıl önce oldukça meşhurdu. İçimi çok hoş olmasa da yine de o zamanların yokluğunda adeta memleketin malborosuydu. O zamanlar çok fazla yerli sigara markası bulunmuyordu. Maltepe de bu markaların en iyilerinden gibiydi. Sigara sağlığa zararlıdır.
