Genesis 18:14-19
Abraham has three visitors who are renewing God's promise of a son through Sarah.
We pick up the conversation with Sarah who denied that she had laughed about the promise of a child. Abraham said, "But you did laugh."
Then the passage tells us what the Creator is thinking as he reasons with himself about the promise and his expectations that Abraham will teach his child and grandchildren about the ways of YHVH.
