POWER YOGA- Surya namaskar

Dear Steemains !!!

Here is my another blog on one of the forms of yoga..It will be useful for those who have limited time for a workout.
I will try to make it short and crisp with some tips.

The advantages of Surya Namaskar :
Boost the immune system and detoxification of body. Reduce weight and chances of getting diseases like diabetics, respiratory or cardiac related disorders.
So spare some time for yourself and try this for 10-15 min if you are not doing any workout.

Quick Tips

Do it in sequence.
Start with 3 times and gradually to 12 times.
Try to do with Mantra(chanting ), I will post the mantra in next blog.
Do it early morning for best result with east facing.
Empty stomach and do lil warm-up/stretching.
Once you complete all sets, ensure you do relax for 5 min in meditation poster.

The sequence Surya Namaskar Poses

  1. Pranamasana (Prayer pose)
  2. Hastauttanasana (Raised Arms pose)
  3. Hasta Padasana (Hand to Foot pose)
  4. Ashwa Sanchalanasana (Equestrian pose)
  5. Dandasana(Stick pose)
  6. Ashtanga Namaskara(Salute With Eight Parts Or Points)
  7. Bhujangasana (Cobra pose)
  8. Parvatasana (Mountain pose)
  9. Ashwa Sanchalanasana (Equestrian pose)
  10. Hasta Padasana (Hand to Foot pose)
  11. Hastauttanasana (Raised Arms pose)
  12. Tadasana
