How to keep your heart
As you age, the heart rate becomes relatively slower, and the heart may become larger. Blood vessels and arteries also become more rigid, causing the heart to work harder to pump blood through them.
These changes can lead to high blood pressure (hypertension) and other cardiovascular problems.
What you can do to improve heart health:
1.## Exercise physical activities in your daily routine
Try walking, swimming, or other fun activities. Regular physical activity can help maintain healthy weight, control blood pressure, and reduce atherosclerosis.
2. Follow a healthy diet
Choose vegetables, fruits, whole grains, fiber-rich foods and low-protein sources, such as fish, and reduce foods high in saturated fats and sodium.
A healthy diet can help keep your heart and arteries healthy.
3. Quit smoking
Smoking contributes to arteriosclerosis and increases blood pressure and heart rate. If you smoke or use other tobacco products, ask your doctor to help you quit.

Stress can negatively affect the heart. So, you have to take measures to reduce stress - or learn how to deal with stress in healthy ways.
