To be Healthy is to be Resourceful...Healthy Garden Competition for 10Days : #day-2
I visited my mom two weeks ago and I found out that she has a new pass time. My mom loves to grow plants in fact, she had hanging plants and orchids before but when the big tress of our neighbor at the back of our house was cut, her plants were started to wither and died afterwards because they were directly exposed from the heat of the sun.
Then just recently I saw her vegetable crops planted in old containers and pots. My mom is very resourceful even though we don't own a lot where she can grow her crops but still she found way. As you can see the plants are placed in the front area of the house.
She have tomatoe, eggplant, bitter gourd, lemon grass, water spinach, malabar spinach, snow cabbage, nalta jute, chili, and gumbo or lady's finger. My mom's garden is not beautiful compared to other competitors but what important for me is the essence of planting vegetables in any way she can. Because being healthy is wealthy.
Truly there is no way you can't do if you are willing and have the heart to do whatever you want to and be resourceful. In short you can improvise everything.. "If there's a will there's always a way."
I will visit my mom again soon and I will take photos of her little garden if they are already bearing.
