Days 1 & 2: The Twins Write A Letter To Their Daddy
Dear Daddy,
We miss you a lot. The day you left, we stayed up late, waiting for you to come home. Mommy cried a lot that day but don't worry! We cheered her up.
We still weren't feeling very good and Mommy wasn't either, but we read lots of books and played with the toy you gave us.
Thanks for fixing this chair for us before you left! We really like sitting in it and now we get to play with our favorite friends again - Sheila the Hippo and Marvin the Monkey. We haven't seen them in a really long time!
It was fun to talk to you on Mommy's iPad. But how come you didn't come out of there to give us hugs?
After we talked to you Tuesday morning, we went for a walk. Mommy showed us some pretty red flowers outside.
We also saw the playground, a lot of tall buildings, and a butterfly.
We really want to go in the pool, but it wouldn't be the same without you. And Mommy says we have to wait until we're 100% better.
We haven't seen many people in the pool since you left. Maybe everybody misses you! We miss having fun people to watch from our window.
After our walk, we came home and napped. Squirt woke up a little early, just to make sure Mommy was okay. She was working on her computer.
We're still not feeling very good, but we sure are a lot hungrier now! Mommy fed us lunch and then after we played, we were supposed to take naps again, but we didn't take very long ones.
Then guess where we all went?! Tesco!
Squish rode in the stroller and Squirt rode on Mommy. We're running out of diapers from being sick and Mommy wanted to make sure we had enough formula too. We like walking through the store and seeing all the fun things.
We didn't take any pictures there, but here's one of the silly ones we wanted to send you.
Of course, it isn't the same walking to Tesco without you. Mommy says it's a good thing you didn't come this time because it was REALLY hot! But she saw a special section of discounted items in the parking lot. Maybe it will still be there when you come back. It would be fun to explore!
When we got home, we ate snacks and played with Mommy. We were really tired by bedtime and it wasn't too hard to fall asleep ... but we miss you. Mommy doesn't sing very well when you're not here. We think she may have been trying not to cry.
We can't wait to say "dadada" to you and have you make funny faces at us.

Aaawww. You know what? I kinda miss Matt too with this letter. And the funny thing is, we don't even know each other.lol. I hope there are less or no more crying from you there @helenoftroy. Nice to see you and the girls seem to be doing good despite the longingness for Matt. Have the girls fully recovered? I can't wait to see them in the pool again :)
Haha, yes, the tears have subsided... Just keep trying to stay focused on the girls' needs and getting us through each day! Thankfully we're feeling a lot better. Can't wait to take the girls to the pool this week ... it'll be an adventure!
And I can't wait to see them in the waters again! Hope you share about that soon. I'm glad to know that you and the girls are feeling better now :)

I was thinking of doing some videos, but haven't taken the time to get it set up. From what I read, d.tube "takes a cut" of your upvotes, but d.live doesn't ... I think I'll look into both though.
I heard that Steepshot also takes a cut. Based on the rumors it's 10%. I am personally okay with Steem websites taking a small cut since they need to pay for their business, bandwidth, advertising, etc. And I think it is good for the Steem ecosystem to have Steem-based websites.
