Hello greetings to all my friends from steemit and especially to @healthsquared and @ sweetsssj, for this initiative to create these contests that not only allow us an opportunity to win but in a so nice and special, that allows us to evaluate the activities that we do and how healthy they are.
Before sharing my activity that frees me stress and recommend it 100%, for all ages, I think it is important to give a brief comment that is stress and how important it is to perform activities that allow us to release them.
Did you know that stress and that it can cause you some diseases?
Stres: State of mental fatigue caused by the demand for a performance much higher than normal; It usually causes various physical and mental disorders. It can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel frustrated, furious or nervous.
Stress can reach your body for different reasons. Problems at home, work demands, people who do not tolerate or love breaks are some of the reasons why you can feel that way. Sometimes it is impossible not to feel stress, but there are some alternatives, such as exercise, walking or being distracted. They can help you release it. If you do not, stress can cause different damages in your health. It can cause negative effects on your heart and digestive system, among many other symptoms and alterations.
An activity that I do weekly, that I love and that frees me from stress is the TAI-CHI.
Of Chinese origin, Tai Chi or tai chi chuan is considered a martial art and combat sport. However, it is not used as such in most cases. It can be understood as a series of movements that give shape to representations of nature; for example, stroking the tail of a horse, caressing the clouds etc .; these so-called "series" make a sequence and several sequences form pictures.
It is used to improve the quality of life, physical, mental, and spiritual. Within the principles of Tai Chi are the soft movements, naturally, relaxed, fluid and, at the same time, slow; Force or speed is not applied, neither stiffness nor agility.
YOU CAN MAKE IT E ANY PLACE BUT FOR ME IT IS IMPORTANT A PLACE WHERE THIS IN CONTACT WITH NATURE, RELAXING. THAT'S WHY I DO IT IN FRONT OF THE SEA, WITH THE SOUND OF THE AIR AND WATER OF THE SEA, BREATHING PURE AIR, BESIDES ENJOYING NATURE.
Warms with breathing and proper focus. Like other martial arts, it's not just about how fast and how hard you can hit a board or knock someone out. Much of this is having a firm grip on your mind. To clear yours, concentrate your chi and take advantage of your potential you will have to start with the correct breathing (which in turn will help you focus).
Separate your feet to the width of your shoulders.
Place your hand on your lower abdomen, about 5 centimeters (2 inches) below your belly button. Push gently.
Inhale and exhale slowly through your nose (with your lips slightly together) through this part of your abdomen. If you can not feel this area moving, push a little more with your hand.
Concentrate on all parts of your body one at a time. Once you get used to this breath, begin to relax every part of your body, one by one. Start with your feet and continue like this until your scalp. If you want, go to the smallest parts of your body (even under your nails). You will discover that you were holding tension without realizing it.
If you start swinging, do not worry, it's really a good thing! It means that you are relaxing and that your body is not tensed to balance. If that happens, consider adjusting your feet slightly or moving your concentration to your balance to recover it again.
Root yourself One of the concepts of tai chi is "take root". It is an easy concept to understand: imagine that roots grow under your feet. You are part of the floor, you never lose your balance, concentrate on being centered. Your limbs sway like branches in the wind, never doubting fear or apprehension. You are rooted
This does not mean that you or your legs are rigid, in fact it is the opposite. Just imagine that you have roots under you, that they are a part of you and allow you to move freely, because you can not fall and you will always be part of the natural world.
Think of your structure. In tai chi there are some forms of positions that you can take. Generally, each style favors a specific form. Here is a summary of the basic concepts:
"Small structure style". In this style (usually the Wu or Hao versions) the movements are not very extensive. The movements are smaller and there is less extension in general. It focuses on the correct integral energy to form correct movements and transitions.
"Large structure style" This style (usually Chen and Yang) involves high and low positions, more dramatic postures and swinging arms. Emphasizes the correct body position and alignment to develop energy.
Experiment with different styles. Because all tai chi is good, it is more important that you practice any mode instead of worrying about which style is right for you.
THE BENEFITS OF TAI CHI
Tai Chi is part of a healthy lifestyle; In fact, traditional Chinese medicine recommends the practice of this discipline for the maintenance and balance of health, physical, mental and spiritual.
After various investigations, Western medicine centers the benefits of this technique in people suffering from disorders of the immune system, circulatory system, respiratory problems, asthma, problems in the reproductive system and digestive problems, among others, highlighting its benefits in the locomotor system, muscle consistency, joints and bones. In addition, it increases flexibility and improves and regulates blood circulation.
At the mental level, it is considered very effective for depressive disorders, anxiety and stress, improving moods and the ability to concentrate, as well as being an inexhaustible source of endorphin production, the hormones of eternal youth and happiness.
It is a sport that is highly recommended for seniors because of its ease, as it does not require strength or speed; a technique that is aimed at people who want to exercise and meditation at the same time.
God Bless You!
