My mother always tried to feed me sweet things made with honey instead of sugar. Because of those constant attempts, honey turned into a slight nightmarish thing for me. But now when I am 23 years old and an obese with 28+ BMI count I regularly use limited amounts of honey in my diet and regret why I did not listen to her all those years.

Here is how it goes, I'll start with brief details about what honey itself is. What it is made of. Might clear up the elemental facts about why it is good for health.

Honey has an unusual amount of monosaccharide concentration. Except the 70-80% of water contents it is almost all saccharides and slight potassium. Honey has zero fat in it and also no cholesterol. And because of not having those honey is so good for health.

Now to The benefitting factors about health, it can contribute to our health in many many ways. For starters in 21 grams of honey(equal to one tablespoon), It contains up to 15 gram of sugar and 64 calories. So for your sugar needs, it will provide 3 times the sweetness than regular sugar. Now when you are collecting high-quality honey such as sunflower honey it will contain many antioxidants, enzymes, acids etc. So you can substitute your daily nutrients pills with honey easily. And keep in mind that its natural while your pills are not.

Honey is also believed to have medicinal properties. Many believe it is less harmful than sugar for diabetic patients. And when you have high blood sugar it can also help reduce it. And honey is a heat inducer. meaning it creates slight heat while ingested causing an improved blood flow. It also has HDS(High -Density Sterol) the good kind of cholesterol which reduces the other one LDs(Low-Density Sterol) improving heart diseases.

Another medicinal property is that the same head inducing factor remedies coughs and sore throats etc. So children who don't like drinking cough syrup can be fed honey instead.

There are many other properties of honey that are believed to be benefitting for health. But for everyday things, this should sum it up
