When you change the word diet to lifestyle it takes the pressure off if you slip up. You don’t need to start over or stop all together. When you do a lifestyle change you can take it day by day until you find what works for you.

This this this. Even when you're working something as disciplined as calories in/calories out, you can tweak what you eat in a given day to meet a target or make the time period longer to get more generalized once the daily feels pretty comfortable. But only you decide your goals and only you put in the hard work to achieve your goals, however private they are. You're showing up and investing in you, every day, because you're worth that effort. Congrats!!
