I sympathise with the anti-vaxxers even though I disagree with them because it is hard to know what to believe these days if you aren't in the medical or scientific communities.
There is just so much propaganda.
Don't get me wrong, I don't trust the drug companies as being great humanitarians but the body of research on vaccines and the effect that they have had on reducing infant mortality and improving general health is irrefutable.
Just as drug companies push their products so there are powerful forces at play pushing the anti-vaccine agenda and are feeding on the fears of these people.
That said we always need to be vigilant in the cases of new evidence and we should not ridicule people who are misinformed.
We as human beings like black or white answers because they make life simple. Unfortunately science is not about absolutes but instead looks at the body of evidence.
Further nobody should be forced to have vaccinations in a free society much as we may not like their opinions we should still respect the right to choose.
The ethical issue arises when not vaccinating can lead to the deaths or serious injury of others (including the children of those who oppose it). There is no easy answer to this issue.
there is more propaganda coming directly from the medical science because they have to uphold their reputations, funding and never admit when they're wrong and they have more money to fund campaigns that are pro-vaccines and get big name stars to help promote them and people don't research or listen to the victims, they just blindly trust the shiny flashy doctors. I understand what you mean. This is why i made a side note on the post. Thing is most vaccines for most illnesses are perfectly safe. The claims of the anti-vaccine movement is mostly bullshit like "oh no there is murcury". It's all about %. Basic science knowledge would solve this problem. Also. I find it hard to believe that there is a global conspiracy from all universities to hide the truth about vaccines. It would impossible.

It's given every single year. It's on the CDC page last time I checked that it's still given in every seasonal flu vaccine. You two should be smarter and better researchers than this.
