Why is Flaxseed so good for you? And how do you introduce it to your diet? 🌟

So the particular flaxseed that I use is the 'Flaxseed,cocoa and berry mix' the extra add of the cocoa and berries to the flaxseed adds extra nutrients, antioxidants and some natural sweetness.

Why flaxseed is so good for you?

•Omega 3 (ALA)
Essential fatty acid witch contributes to the maintenance of normal blood & cholesterol levels
•Magnesium
Beneficial for normal bones,teeth and aids in proper muscle function,nervous system function and engery metabolism.
•Iron
Important for oxygen transportation to the body and formation of red blood cells
•Zinc
Nessesaary for immune system function and antioxidant protection of the body's cells and tissues from oxidative stress.
•Selenium
Required for normal function of the immune system and to provide protection of cells and tissues from oxidative damage.

How can I introduce flaxseed into my diet?

Hot or cold cereal,porridage,Granola,fruit salad,Homemade pancakes, acci bowls, scones,muffins,cake, smoothies,yoghurt,homemade desserts and so much more.

Here is what I made at home to give you an example of how I add flaxseed to my diet.

My acci berry bowl:

So here we have-

A cup full of frozen berries
Half a cup of milk/ Soya or whole milk
Blend together
Dish out into the bowl
Add a heaped spoon of flaxseed
Chia seed
maca powder
Extra handful of berries
Half a Banana

You could also mix it up by adding more fruit.
