Steemit Daily 100+ Rep Fitness Challenge Day # 11 - Find YOUR Inspiration & Join Me As I Rebuild - 12/17/17

in #health7 years ago (edited)

Had some pretty bad news in the family health department today, so I ate some extra raw vegetables and did my workout. There's only so much you can control. Once I get my strength back, I'll be back to a few hundred reps to keep up with the pack.

Total of 7,046 reps done across 4 Steemians in 10 days.

Contribute any time you can. It's good for you! If you can't, try to eat natural foods and stay well hydrated without the sugar!

Please also support these participants to reward them for their commitment to their physical and mental health. Thank you.

Daily Challenge Completed - 115 reps:

-40 Push-Ups
-25 Bar Curls (75 pounds)
-20 Alternating Single Leg Lunges
-20 Shoulder Bar Presses (75 pounds)
-10 Reverse Bar Curls (75 pounds)

Cumulative Results:
@rmsbodybuilding = 4,544 reps (64.5%)
@myleskshupe = 1,205 reps (17.1%)
@steemmatt = 1,196 reps (17%)
@dj123 = 101 reps (1.4%)

Please see my first post linked below for my motivation, the challenge background, rules, and details for the Steemit Silver Coin prize! It's also got some personal stuff about why I'm doing this, so it could be a good motivator.

Conditions:

  • Weights are not required.
  • Do real reps with good form, aiming for 100+.
  • Start your reply with "Challenge Completed".
  • Reply with the type of exercises and # of reps for each in a list.
  • Cumulative tallies welcome as a separate line appreciated.
  • Only submit reps you've done, not ones you're planning to do/may not do.
  • Use the tag "fitnesschallenge".
  • Upvoting or resteeming daily posts is greatly appreciated to reach more people.

Advice:

  • Stretch before and after your exercise.
  • Breathe properly on each rep.
  • Quality over quantity.
  • Hydrate throughout and afterwards.
  • Eat a healthy snack with protein after.
  • Do exercises that you enjoy at first to build momentum for the harder ones.
  • Take before pictures so you can appreciate your results over time.
  • Feel good about your accomplishments.

It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100.

For December, I'll count 30 minutes of dedicated walking or jogging as 50 reps for those who prefer to get the ball rolling.

Who will join in THIS round and continue to follow to improve our health? Please follow daily and share your hard work!
