Diet schedule for 3 days diet

Day 1

On the first day you take a roasted brown sandwich for breakfast, where you can spread a maximum of 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. In addition, you can take 1 half grapefruit. You can drink coffee and tea as much as you want, but as stated without milk or sugar.

In the afternoon you can once again take 1 toasted brown bread, and then 60 grams of drained tuna. And of course the coffee and / or tea that you can drink with it.

In the evening you can take about 250 grams of vegetables to your liking, although it is recommended to choose 125 grams of fresh green beans and 125 grams of fresh cooked red beets. In addition, you take about 100 grams of lean meat, for example lean chicken fillet or roast beef. You can also add another 120 grams of vanilla ice cream and an apple as a dessert.

Day 2

On the second day you take another roasted brown sandwich as breakfast. You can take a boiled egg and half a banana. You can drink coffee, tea or water as much as you want.

For lunch you take 5 crackers (preferably LU cracottes) and 120 grams of low-fat cheese or low-fat quark, and coffee or tea.

In the evening the dietary advice consists of 3 canned sausages, +/- 200 grams of vegetables (preferably broccoli and carrots) and half a banana. For dessert you can take 60 grams of vanilla ice cream.

Day 3

On the third and final day of the 3 day diet, your breakfast consists of 5 LU Cracottes crackers, 100 grams of low-fat cheese, an apple and coffee or tea.

For lunch you take a roasted brown sandwich with a boiled egg, and coffee or tea.

In the evening you take about 250 grams of vegetables of your choice, but preferably fresh cooked beetroot and stewed cauliflower. In addition, you can take 60 grams of drained tuna on water, and for dessert a part watermelon and 60 grams of vanilla ice cream.

The pros and cons of the 3 day diet

As is the case with almost every dietetic form, besides benefits, there are also the necessary disadvantages to the 3 day diet. As an advantage it can be mentioned that the diet is short-term. This makes it pretty good to keep out. In addition, the prescribed foods from the schedule are fairly simple; no hassle with difficult recipes. Finally you fall irrevocably, provided you strictly follow the schedule. The diet is certainly an effect in the short term.

A disadvantage of the body is intensive switching to a very limited caloric intake. The body is heavily burdened by the lack of calories, which can lead to fatigue and lethargy. There is also a chance of the yo-yo effect. After 3 days of strict dieting, there is a chance that you will overcompensate and eat more quickly. The kilos that went off so quickly are there again in no time. In fact, you will probably get even more. Also the 3 day diet is quite one-sided, during this diet you will be short of a number of important vitamins and minerals.

Is the 3 day diet something for me?

When you want to quickly lose a good number of kilos in the short term, the 3 day diet is a real alternative. You can repeat the diet several times, provided you use a normal diet for 4 days in between. Make sure that you do not eat more than you usually do in the 4 days after the diet. Then overcompensation arises and the profit of the diet is quickly lost.

Because the 3 day diet is an intensive diet, it can burden your body considerably. You will have to take into account adverse side effects as described above. A more balanced, healthier and less violent crash diet leads in most cases to a better end result.
