Growing your own food for a sustainable future on this planet

We need to massively shift away from big agriculture operations & mono crop farming in order to preserve the soil health - and we need to consider the future generations of people on this earth. Soil health directly impacts our food quality… if the soil has no nutrients or beneficial microbes, then neither does our food.

Bananas are the most popular and top selling fruit in the US and many countries because they are delicious and very affordable. They’re a great staple for those wanting to eat more fruit in the winter time.

Banana trees are a fast producing crop (and produce year round), but many countries & farms monocrop thousands of banana trees - Even organic brands are guilty of this. Monocropping any fruit or plant leads to destroying the soil over time.

The most sustainable way to grow bananas (and most plants) is to have a diverse amount of different trees, herbs, and mineral balancing plants; to nourish the soil and ecosystem around it. Respecting the land and natural ecosystem as much as possible. Permaculture growing methods are more efficient, effective, and sustainable long term.

This includes multiple different varieties of banana, papaya, sapote, jackfruit, citrus, and many other fruit trees, herbs, & native plants. And mulching these trees properly with nitrogen/mineral rich plants - which is not done with monocrop farm operations
