The problem of the meibomian gland dysfuction (MGD) is increasing rapidly due to the eye make-up in women. By not taking it seriously, you may be at risk of blepharitis, excessive foggy eyes etc.
According to Mahindra Sachdev, director of the Center for Sight in North India, Eyeliner and other makeup items usually close the Mebomian Gland, which causes painless lumps in the eyelids, which inhibit vision.
According to Sachdev, produce mebomin oil which prevents tears from vaporizing quickly. Whenever the glands do not work properly, this oil becomes the cause of obstruction in the gland.
This oil is sometimes thick, which causes lump in the eyelids, which is known as the Chalagian. The main symptoms of MGD include syndrome, blepharitis and loss of vision.
Due to the accumulation of this oil, the lump is formed in the eyelids, causing the glands to be blocked. This is the reason that with the oil gland block, your eyelids are swollen and red in this condition.
According to Parul Soni, Director of Complete Eye Care, Gurgaon, 40% of women using eye makeup are seen to have problems with oil glove blockage. Mascara and I liner contain the same chemicals, which block the oil gland.
The element of antioxidant I cream, retinoid is also called thick and bad element. Such makeup kills blood cells in mebomial gland ductus.
According to a study done by the University of Canada, people who put liner inside the eyelids, contaminate their eyes and have high risk of trouble in sight.
