What is Zika virus? and what are the symptoms?
Zika virus is spread by mosquito bite but there is no information about whether the virus has passed from person to person. The Zika virus, first seen in humans in 1954 in Nigeria, was found in apes in 1947 before man. It was recently seen in Brazil in 2015.
What is Zika virus? The Zika virus is most commonly found in the countries of Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guards, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Suriname, US Virgin Islands and Venezuela. Researchers point out that there is a strong relationship between the spread of the Zika virus transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes to pregnant women and the appearance of "microcephaly" (small head structure), a neurodevelopmental disorder in newborn babies.
Until now, it is known that 51 babies carrying Zika virus, which causes disorders in brain function, have lost their lives.
What is the indication of Zika virus disease?
The disease has high fever, redness in the eyes, vomiting, rash, head, muscle and joint pain. According to experts, most people who take the virus do not show symptoms of the disease and the person is not disturbed.
It is known that the virus spreads by blood transfusion, perinatal, and possibly by sexual intercourse.
Where are Zika viruses seen?
The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that Zika virus in 23 countries continues to spread especially in South Americ
The virus, which has been seen in tropical Africa, Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, Central and South America, says the virus has risen 30 times since 2010.
The Brazilian health authorities have reported that there are 3,993 people believed to have been infected with the virus. In the poor Pernambuco region in the northern part of the country, microcephaly is found in 1-2% of the newborns.
In Brazil, where Zika virus has spread, more than 3,500 babies have been diagnosed with "microcephaly", a neuro-developmental disorder since October. Finally, it has been revealed that a newborn baby in Hawaii has a birth defect due to Zika virus.
The widespread mosquitoes, such as the West Nile virus, cause the Zika virus to spread in the United States, and the mosquitoes are seen on the eastern shores of the states of Texas, Florida and New Jersey.
After a Zika virus was found in a Danish tourist who returned from a trip to South and Central America, European countries were reported to have gone through alerting.
In the statement made by the UK Department of Public Health, three people returning from Colombia, Surinam and Guyana reported that their virus was detected; Italy, Spain and Switzerland also reported Zika virus cases.
What are the precautions against Zika virus?
To protect against infections, it was suggested that people should be protected from mosquito bites and that women should not become pregnant in areas where the disease is seen.

President of American College of Gynecologists and Gynecologists (ACOG) in USA Mark Defrancesco said pregnant women are not recommended to travel to areas where the virus can be seen.
On the other hand, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has increased the number of countries that have been advised to travel on the issue to 22.
Are there any planned measures against Zika virus?
A new method of using genetically modified mosquitoes to fight the Zika virus, which is common in South America, has been developed.
The British biotechnology company Oxitec, which has been working to combat viruses that cause defective births, has developed a new method of reducing diseased structures using male mosquitoes.
The company's researchers in the Brazilian Piracicaba region, under the influence of human mosquito bites, have observed that larvae of virus mosquitoes carried by female mosquitoes have been largely destroyed by genetically modified male mosquitoes. In tests, it was seen that the larvae were reduced by 82 percent with this method.

Disease has no specific treatment.
Scientists pointed out that vaccination testing could start in two years but it could take at least 10 years for the vaccine to start to be used in the world because it has to pass approval of drug regulatory bodies.

Considering the Zika virus has been known about since 1954 and the symptoms have always been the same, don't you think it is odd that in the last couple of years we have been told that it causes babies to be born with deformed heads? Zika is being used to cover up the fact that the woman in Brazil were all given the same vaccine at around the same time and 9 months later babies started to be born with deformed heads. When tested for Zika most of the babies and mothers were found not to harbour the virus but thanks to a complicit media and gullible public, not only do most people believe the lies but the pharmaceutical companies are actually making a lot of money creating vaccines for something that has never been known to cause anything other than mild symptoms in the majority of those who contract it with most not even realising they have it.
you may be right. especially about vaccines and medicines. but many countries and scientists are doing serious research on this subject. Many countries are co-ordinating on this issue.

Do a web search for "Tdap vaccine zika". Links to info about a Tdap vaccination program in Brazil that happened 9-12 months before cases of microcephaly started to be seen as well as scientific studies that showed no association between vaccination with Tdap during pregnancy & microcephaly in babies. It's a really interesting case study. this is also an interesting story although if you check the disinformation sites such as Snopes it's all a wacky 'conspiracy theory' ;-)
